Can I add my bit please. More historical clothing. How about 17th cent not the fantasy type but a cavalier musketeer, pikeman, dragoon or even better regency male clothing not hollywood types. Maybe some Napolionic stuff Lancers Old Guard Hussars, those french types were real dandies. I have been looking for some good uniforms from around this period ever since i came to render, lots of posibles here both male and female, or some conforming segmented roman armour, and maybe some decent chain mail, How about ww2 german, brits, japanese, french ,German SS, Flyboys not forgetting the 40s fashions, or how about dior style female wear from 1949 to 1951 Historical uniforms are my thing is there any one else out there who has seen any re-anactments here in sunny england i was for 13 years in the Sealed Knot, re-enacting the civil war between king & parliment. very physicle it was too broke a few bones long the way, not like the ACW lot in USA we could hit!! people.So Yeah love to see some thought into making some Historical stuff

Well well if creating textures or making the simplest of props to enhance a concept/picture is not art then why do we get the art snobs and you can put all the know alls that have been mentioned here, raving about the turner priz. Example of what the trendy artist has given the criticts to rave about A room that as you enter the lights turn on and off. A garden shed with a bike a spade and other bits & bobs that you would find therein. Oh what about the artist who exibited the contents of babies nappies, or diepers whichever side of the pond you dwell. If anything those are the people who are making art a joke, I use poser for my Art what i have spent on poser and bryce I have saved a fortune on model fees, although one of my models became my wife. I can get freebees now!! poser is a tool to develop artistic ideas. Many of the great artists would have taken the computer and the software to enhance thier portfoilio. As it hase been said if the Roland synth & cubase had been around in Mozarts time he would have used them. Barry Manilow uses a computer so I have read to arrange his songs , does it matter if he uses a $10000 program or a progam that came free with a monthly publication, it is the end result that counts. great love spike and buffy but cannot download using windows download prog. All i get is a bad zip file or part of an spanned file, how or what will you guys use to download spike

yep i have it seems to take an age but with credit cards as they are in uk barclay card and amex it is insured just ask your bank about buying overseas. I live in the west country in gloucestershire it took about a month and customs had a peak (think they were dissapointed not to have any dvd porn to add to there collection but yes they are ok and thier response to email enquiries is as i have found very good good luck and enjoy xmas ps it is nice to see a few brits here

Well i was only echoing some of the points raised here that some people like myself do go on to buy the retail version and paid 225 whatever that will convert to $ and yes i like the rest of or should i say a most of the folks here look forward to the release of P5

Cripes people what can i say i actualy started with pirate copy of poser but before the tut tut i did buy a retail version, one, because of the upgrades offered at the time 4.03 and also i was so impressed with the program and the community here i felt i would benifit more with a purchased copy (sigh!) (get the hankies out) than the bug ridden copy i got from a warez site but i wish the offer made by CL was a while back!!

Thanks to you guys for all your input and helpful comments on the texture. the member who is trying to achieve a respectable looking render is my 10 year old daughter who is facinated in CGI, poser in particular. She has scoured old photos of her Mum and myself to achieve the lips and eyes, the lashes come in the form of a scanned in cheap pair of false eye lashes from clairs accessaries,(live UK you will know the place) and from the messages she has sent to cake 1, iron bear, syyd,Destiny,Tammy, to name a few she made her own trans map. she probably will hate me for posting this as it gives out her age and she is afraid that she will be treated as "just another kid". Hey i read recently that most of the artists here are like myself on the good side of 40 hey life bigins at 40 does`nt it. she will im sure be sending in many postings in the future which i hope will be better and better, But hey is she the youngest member? Hi Guy's Have any of you tried Grouper11 Linked on Omni3D This prog also states that it can import poser files into bryce runs on win 98 not 2000 but the good thing is it is free go have a look As with a lot of the community i have also paid out for duff progs perhaps renderosity should put out a page where new progs could be reviewed and rated? program developers would also benefit by haveing programs viewed by the very people they wish to sell to in one place

Hey Im glad im not the only one (sorry) I have bought $131 worth and only been able to download one have had trouble with server shutting me off so when tried to download again told exeeded the max downloads. I have also emailed the store twice !!!!
