Indeed, very well. And she's real easy to morph and scale.
...and makes a cute blonde, too! ;)

Thread: Library Fault notice displayed instead of Poser 8 library | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Poser does look to the net (even though it doesn't require internet access), but only for Content Paradise, and if there is no connection then it does show an error dialog box in the library, so it can look like the library is trying to connect to the net even though the library itself isn't trying to go online. Click ok and the error message should away and Poser will work just fine offline.
What he said! Whether connected to the internet or not, the error occasionally pops up for me (no real pattern per se). I just click okay, then go rebuild a car engine while the library finishes loading. shrug

Look for SnowSultan in freestuff. He makes very helpful seam guides for most of the popular figures (V4, M4, V3 etc).

And a simalar saying to that is...
"If it's sounds too good to be true, then it probably is." Again, not the case with Antonia. LOL
I know it was mean to say that about Daz but, in truth I'm very glad they are around. If there had been nothing from them to fill the void between Posette and Antonia, then I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be messing around with Poser today. Still, when I FINALLY got V4 installed properly... I was VERY unimpressed. Having to still postwork joint issues in Victoria's fourth version really ticked me off! I guess that's why my response to anyone who would ask me about ODF is: "Finally! Someone who GETS it!" :D
BTW... I'm happy to hear that Leo is doing better. Here's to wishing the best for him and you!
And BluEcho.... hope you feel better soon!
And WOW! My 400th post in seven and a half years! Gee... I'm such a blabber mouth! LOL

So use the one released back in March.
If you mean the Antonia 1.0 V3 map, I would but it causes too much distortion with second skins.
And by similar, I mean one solid body like V3's.

Oh, and i just checked up on my "Antonia Collection" freebie over at ShareCG. It's currently at 459 downloads... so that's at least 459 users for Antonia! Nice!
And not a single question about which version the textures work on, so disregard my concern from earlier about having two UV maps.
I guess more people read the "readme" than I thought. :P
Now I'm curious, how many people have downloaded Antonia-1.2? And I mean download total from her homepage.

Quote - But step into the free-and-experimental field and prepare to hear "I don't care, too complicated, too not-out-of-the-box".
I hear ya, SaintFox. Sorry to bring that issue back up. Unfortunately, it does give another good example of how complicated to use Antonia seems to be for the average user.
On second thought, this could actually be a good thing (for those of us who have been following Antonia). While the average user continues to use Daz's latest train wreck, we'll have more originality in our renders ;) Not to mention better bending.

...but are you comprehending it?
There's a lot of good advice in here (better than what I came up with), yet no response from you on whether or not it's helping. IS any of it helping?

Quote - > Quote - I haven't even bothered with the "A" version ever since the second UV map came out. Anybody else?
I'm exactly the opposite. I haven't used the non-A version at all, except to correct a flaw in an earlier version of its UV mapping.
One would think that options are good. Really don't understand complaints about a situation which offers room for greater variety.
Not a complaint, just an observation. What I'm seeing from the previous page is the potential for disaster with every new user of Antonia. Let's face it, the greater variety (which is indeed a good thing) confused them immediately. For us "nuts and bolts" users in this thread, two maps haven't been a problem.
I remember a thread a while back where someone couldn't get poses to work on Antonia. Why? Because they were confused about which version of figure to use with which version of pose. Again, for us in this thread who know about "The Great Hip2/Waist Swap Caper of 2011", this is not a problem. Unfortunately, even after several people were kind enough to help out the OP in that thread, well... their response was 'nevermind... sounds like too much trouble'. Well, crap! That's not the kind of publicity Antonia needs, is it?
Let's face it, Antonia is getting to the point where she's starting to appeal to the "cookie-cutter pin-up" crowd(which is freaking huge). The problem with this is, most of that crowd wants "out-of-the-box" functionality. Shante didn't get that functionality on the previous page because of...well, too many options.
Again, just an observation. Hell, a third UV map similar to V3's would rule my world!

Actually, let me add to what I just said...
Face morphs should work fine on Antonia-1.2(they do for me). It's the body morphs that can cause confusion. What works for Antonia-1.0, will not work for Antonia-1.2

Shante, in your characters folder for Antonia will be 4 figures. The "Antonia-1.2" figure will be the one that uses SaintFox's Toni Polygon texture set. The "AntoniaA-1.2" figure uses the older mapping. The other two (with -lo- in the name) are low-poly versions, good for using in backgrounds and crowds.
Bear in mind that most of the morphs available right now DO NOT work for Antonia-1.2 unless they specifically say so.

Thanks for the boots, Thalek! They're quite good! And the dress is quite awesome too, EnglishBob! Again, thanks guys! I'm looking forward to playing with those.
Okay... Shante's issues with Antonia just proved a very valid point... the confusion that two UVmap versions can cause for new users. In fact, I'm wondering why we still need to be dealing with two different UV mappings? I haven't even bothered with the "A" version ever since the second UV map came out. Anybody else?
I know there are still a few textures out there for the older UV but, isn't it time to update them? One figure, one map = a lot less confusion.

"Women only like guys who are experts at their hobby?"
Wow man! Where do you GET this stuff? All my hobbies have ever gotten me are needy freeloaders who want shit for free. Yeah sure, the occassional oohs! or ahhs! (makes jerk off motion with hand) but seriously, what Boni just said I couldn't say any better. As for whether or not a woman likes what you do as a hobby, meh... I've never met one who cared enough either way to affect our relationship.
Case in point, my (seriously outdated)gallery shows that I'm really good with pencil and paper. The number of women I have attracted with this talent? Zero!
My musical skills include being able to play VanHalen's "Eruption" solo on an 8 string guitar. The number of women who have shown any real interest in this? Yup, zero!
I used to play in a rock band for over 2 years and then I DJed a lot in various dance clubs. Again, the number of women who farted sideways to a dime over it? Nada!
What does get a woman's attention for me is, having confidence in myself and (this is important) NOT bragging about what I can do.
Now, (somebody already said this)using your hobbies to build your confidence up for real life? This can definitely work! As for women, they will notice the confidence and like that but, they really won't care about where you got the confidence from.
Good luck!
