Agree with AgentSmith on render times. I've done mostly modest artwork with bryce, but what I've done hasn't taken longer than two hours render time yet. True Catlin, Doublecrash has accomplished the best interiors IMHO, using bryce alone! Maybe we all should start voicing our desires at Corel. Make them see how valuable bryces setup is. I have had absolutely no technical problems with bryce5. Only when my memory runs low, does anything wierd happen.

Out of all my programs, bryce is the only one, that lets me feel as if i'm holding the objects in my hand. Like i'm inside the program itself! It makes logical geometric sense, out of it's interface. Foleypro, I totally agree and hope exactly the same thing!

Agree with Kromekat. Make sure the greyscale object is dead center of a 512x512 image, or when you import it to bryce lattice, it will do the same thing; rotate of center.

AMEN to that response, EYECON!!! I have Rhino 3D, Poser 4, ZBrush and many other apps; None compare to the interface of Bryce. They're all great programs and have their good points! Take my advice, Bryce is nice. I can't make mice, but love the price!

Thread: Poser4/ strange? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I want to have a program that lets me model my own animals and humans, IN ONE program. Poser lets me pose other peoples artwork(in a very frustrating format), but I am not able to create my own organics. I've come pretty close with Bryce metaballs and lattices. I hope to eventually model an animal with just bryce5. That to me, is the true, challenge and reward. Poser doesn't seem to offer a rewarding experience. Ever noticed that, everybody using poser, uses that same TOO perfect looking Michael. No offense. I really enjoy, some of the poser creatures I see(humanoids and robots)! Crasher is one of my favorite poser artists, because of her originality. I do have rhino 3D, but it looks scary and confusing. With bryce I'm not trying to manipulate a bunch of screens from an outside view. In bryce, it's as if I'm inside of a three dimensional landscape grabbing objects and placing them in a first person perspective. Poser looks similar until you try to grab something to manipulate then everything is unstable and too touchy. There is no logic in how the controls work. I'm scared to purchase poser5. P4 is no fun for me.

AHAAA! I'm supposed to post in a special place? I posted my image in the bryce gallery. HEHE!!! Told you you it was my fault. I don't mind, It's okay! Next time I'll read everything more carefully and be better prepared. I agree with, catlin mc: Don't fret none about a small error. Mine was my own fault. Keep on keepin' on, Agent Smith.

No worries, agentSmith. It may be my fault. I'll re-read the rules for next time around. Those who did submit, were a joy to view!

Hmmm, My favorite way to render, Tempest. I'm a pure Brycer, whenever possible. Check out my latest: "Reference Lab". Its all bryce and 42 lattices. I except your challenge, my friend.
Thread: Tree Lab Issue: Dense foliage AND small filesize | Forum: Bryce
Thank you so much, Lars! This helps me alot with tree lab. I've been avoiding trees for the most part, because of file size. Wonderful idea. Mike.
