Thread: Hide from Render in Vue Easel | Forum: Vue
Import your objects. Save your file as "TEST". Delete the objects you don't want to render. Render and evaluate. Reload scene. Delete other objects. Render and evaluate again. Repeat as necessary. Kinda like the instructions on shampoo.
Thread: Latest Vue feedbakc suggestion :) | Forum: Vue
You all gonna hate me for this one, but when I used Bryce years ago, they had several preset buttons that allowed you to quickly save your atmospheric settings while you were making your adjustments. Just like in Poser where you can click on those little buttons to save your pose, camera settings etc. I really really wish VUE had this for atmospheres. When you make just several slight adjsutments, render to see your results it is impossible to return to your settings if they were say 4 or more back. HEY EON! give just some memory atmosphere buttons.
Thread: Lots more new tuts | Forum: Vue
The car tuts will only come one per week as they are extremely technical and I want to make sure I am not doing it willy nilly and lettin it just hang in the wind. I am currently taking a car modeling lesson for Cinema 4d and applying my learning to Hex for these tuts. So bare with me as I want to be as thorough as possible.

Thread: Lots more new tuts | Forum: Vue
That first one with no sound was really only an answer to a forum question on how to enable/disable that visibility function. That was about it.

My god, I have no idea what it is you are asking! Could you do a render and show us what you mean? It would be easier.
Thread: Textures in general | Forum: Vue
Thx Mazak. You definately nailed it. Chip Walters is a wizbangproguru when it comes to modeling, textures and just about anything with VUE. And that is why I he's getting coal in his Xmas stocking from me this year. :)

Thanks flak. Your method does work, but it isn't exactly what I wanted. Either way, I will be playing around with it some more and I will be using a UV map.
Thx for all your help.
Thread: Procedural fur? | Forum: Vue
Under the effects tab of your procedural editor, try the turbulance and rotation settings. You will need to click them first. Also, you will have to have a tex that has two or more contrasting colors

Thread: How about some Non-Infinate Vue tutorials? | Forum: Vue
They just posted a VUE tut that has no tricks but does cover using a cloud layer for fog. Also, I just finished a VUE tut and submitted it to them. It covers no tricks what so ever and it should appear there for viewing in several days.
So, your prayers have been answered my friend.
Thread: starting a vue rendering buisness | Forum: Vue
Terribly flawed. He not only doesn't have a firm grasp on the simple outline of his plan, but also has no idea of what is inside his computer......if it is even his. I do hope he gets this ironed out as it is a very generous gesture. But until then, BUYER BEWARE!
Thread: Free tunnels | Forum: Vue
Whats a gallery? And isn't a "link" just another word for a sausage? For heavens sake, just speak Engrish for us newbys who don't understand all this compooter jargen.
Thread: Suggestions for creating a landscape looking down from 15,000 feet | Forum: Vue
Yes. As with all renders, objects need to be scaled to "appear" further away or closer to the eye. Also, you will need to increase your haze/fog to give the appearance of greater overall distances. All this of course depends on your POV.
