Well, the entire What's Hot page looks like an ad for "Slutz R Us."
I'm not a prude, I've pretty much got a live and let live attitude, but for a "family friendly" site, you might want to put the emphasis on "friendly" REALLY "Friendly." I'm serious, Stacey, just go take a stroll past what's hot, and look at it with a more critical eye. It looks really bad, and I was lead tester at Renderotica for eight years. So, you know I know p0rn when I see it and I'm not just being a prude, it really does look bad.
Thread: I don't have anything in my wishlist... | Forum: Community Center
I'm having that same weird issue at Smith Micro. They keep sending me an email for something on my wishlist, only I don't have a wishlist there, and the notice they keep sending me is for something that isn't even in their store. It's been driving me bat---t. I told them to please fix it because it's tap dancing all over my very last nerve, but they can't seem to find the problem.

As you can see, this is from 4 days ago, I just got it a few minutes ago.

Just an update from these turnips...
About the spam they sent out telling me I was infected with a bot?
I got this letter from these idiots this morning:
Important information regarding your XFINITY® service.
Dear Xfinity Internet Customer,
We recently sent an email between September 4th and 8th notifying you of a possible infection on your home computer or network. We have determined that this Constant Guard notification was most likely sent in error due to an inadvertent update from the provider of our malware detection service. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we are working with our provider to ensure this doesn't happen again. We take matters related to Internet security and privacy very seriously and will continue to ensure that our customers have a safe and secure Internet experience.
While we believe that the notice you received was sent in error, it is still very important that you make sure your computers and home network are clean and secure. For tools and information about online safety, visit: https://constantguard.comcast.net. You should assume any other Constant Guard notification you have received is accurate and follow the instructions in it for cleaning and securing your home computers and network.
Sincerely,
Constant Guard from XFINITY
And these @$$clowns want to rule the entire internet? They can't even stop themselves from wrongfully spamming their clients. I so hope the Con-War merger isn't approved, and the FCC comes to their senses...
Anyway---back to them spamming me along with every other tool on the internet while not getting the e-mail I want.
a very disgusted me...

No, I'm back to no mail from here again. I did corner a phone drone that said you need to fill out some papers, and I told them since you've been working with them on this issue for the past few MONTHS, that I'm sure you've done what needed to be done.
Thing that really chaps my a-- is that I did get mail. It's not like they can't let it through, more like they just don't give a husky rat's a-- if people are getting mail they want. (Yet, I get male enhancement spam by the hundreds with absolutely no problem.) They've got some bug up their nether parts, and they're going to hold our mail hostage. I told them they're costing me money by doing this and I plan on sending them a bill for lost wages. Along with a bill for my time that them sending me out a spam message saying I was probably infected with a bot cost me. I spent 7 hours tearing throughout 4 terabytes of hard drives trying to locate this elusive bot, just to find out it was a spam message trying to get me to download their security package. They never said it was an ad, just told me I was probably infected and needed to take additional action immediately.
I hate these people. I really, truly despise them...

Now I'm not getting anything again. SIGH...
These idiots...
No they stopped. I was getting some past mail. Postmarked 09-07 and 09-09, so nothing current and it looks like it stopped again.
Thread: No mail at all... | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
OH, BTW--I changed my email address and I'm still not getting any mail. So it's anything coming from Renderosity that's being blocked. I can't do anything about it from this end. Except call Comcast and make their their phone drone cry.
EDITED
OK!! I just made the phone drone cry. They said it will be fixed TODAY. So could you have them try to send me email again tomorrow??

HELLO?? Anyone from Rosity?
Still not getting any mail. It's OK, though. It's saving ME money. And if you don't want to fix this for me, I can't imagine doing much shopping here any more.

Quote - Seeing as there are at least two of us not getting Rendo emails, that seem to have started at the same time, methinks something is definitely up on the Rendo side... :(
Have you checked your settings in:
Members>My Profile
Down at the bottom is your mail preferences. We already know that Comcast is bouncing my mail. You may need to check with your provider to see if they're bouncing yours. Comcast can be...difficult to deal with---they're a huge corporation and even when they're wrong, they can do no wrong. So they normally refuse to fix their screw-ups...

Still not getting anything, Stacey. So, let me know what needs to be done. And I'll check in later since I'm not getting notices... :/

You and me both...whew...the names I call Comcast... :D
And they do, they arbitrarily kill my email. Yet, I am inundated with male enhancement spam and they won't stop that. Not to mention they throttle this site, Amazon and eBay, ALL the time. Sometimes I can't even get through here, yet I have no trouble getting to other sites. And they already proved they aren't above throttling sites for giggles or intimidation. When they were in "negotiations" with Netflix, they slowed Netflix traffic down to a virtual crawl so they'd have to pay Comcast's strong arm fees.
I hate them much, they're so evil--- but they're about the only high speed carrier where I live.
I guess I can try an alternate email address, but everything is routed through them. If you want me to change my email address to see if that clears it up, let me know. Otherwise I'll wait and see how you think we should proceed. I can always call them up and scream at them. It's been a while since I made one of their phone drones miserable...

Oh...yeah, Comcast can be dinks at times. i didn't get any notification for this, but I dont seem to be having any trouble getting mail for male enhancement and keeping her satisfied all night long...
Curiouser and curiouser...
I was off the internet for those two weeks, but I've gotten mail from you since then, so that's probably not it. And here I was hoping for a coupon to do some shopping. Guess that's not gonna happen. Oh well, other places sent me coupons, guess I'll go there. :)
Thanks, Stacey!
Thread: How to reduce SPAM from Renderosity | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Quote - > Quote - So you're striking out all over the place.
Am I? Well sorry. I though I could help. If I can't help you, feel free to disregard.
Quote - mail I did not ask for, but will have to opt out of that which I did want in order to stem the flow.
Isn't that a definition of spam? And do you really think "opting out" is possible? (But then again, as I already said, feel free to disregard what I say. After all you're in control, aren't you.)
Ummm..YES. I am in control of the mail I get from the Renderosity Market Place. If I stop all mail, I am relatively certain they will not darken my mail box again. I was not referencing spam I get from out of country pharmacies or learn to speak Finnish classes. I rarely see those. They are not my concern here. What I receive from Renderosity is. That is the only thing they have control of which is why I am contacting them here. It would be pointless for me to come in here complaining about spam they have no control over. End of debate.
