Subject: No mail at all...

I'm not getting any mail at all. No ads, no gallery or mail notices, no coupons. And I haven't changed a thing. So, I'm not sure why it stopped, but it would be nice to get it back...

I show in our logs that all emails sent by us was bouncing so after so many attempts it throws your email address to a do not mail status as continuning to send with everything bouncing causes issues with mailing to anyone that uses your email client. I've removed you from the do not email list so that the next thing from us you are opted in for will try to send again so let us know if you start receiving emails again. If not then we will have to figure out why they are bouncing on your email clients end.  Be sure you have us added as a "contact" just in case it's being seen as spam or junk mail.

 

Just keep me informed and we will try and get it sorted if it continues to bounce. You use the same email client as my personal one and I'm receiving Rendo emails just fine to my personal email on the test account I have here that is on a lot of mailing lists for testing purposes so hopefully now that I've set your status back to try again the next time something goes out you are opted in to get everything will be fine

Oh...yeah, Comcast can be dinks at times. i didn't get any notification for this, but I dont seem to be having any trouble getting mail for male enhancement and keeping her satisfied all night long...

Curiouser and curiouser...

I was off the internet for those two weeks, but I've gotten mail from you since then, so that's probably not it. And here I was hoping for a coupon to do some shopping. Guess that's not gonna happen. Oh well, other places sent me coupons, guess I'll go there. :)

I have troubles with getting emails through my comcast email all the time and I seriously am considering using another email provider due to that but I haven't had any problems with my test account using my comcast for Rendo testing so I guess with them it's hit or miss. I'll double check with the techs on Monday to see if there is any known issue with comcast we are having at this time.  We've had yahoo and hotmail issues a few times but so far not with comcast but who knows when it comest to them, I can't even get started talking about my feelings about comcast internet and cable either because I have issues about 60% of the time with one or the other being down:(

You and me both...whew...the names I call Comcast... :D

And they do, they arbitrarily kill my email. Yet, I am inundated with male enhancement spam and they won't stop that. Not to mention they throttle this site, Amazon and eBay, ALL the time. Sometimes I can't even get through here, yet I have no trouble getting to other sites. And they already proved they aren't above throttling sites for giggles or intimidation. When they were in "negotiations" with Netflix, they slowed Netflix traffic down to a virtual crawl so they'd have to pay Comcast's strong arm fees.

I hate them much, they're so evil--- but they're about the only high speed carrier where I live.

I guess I can try an alternate email address, but everything is routed through them. If you want me to change my email address to see if that clears it up, let me know. Otherwise I'll wait and see how you think we should proceed. I can always call them up and scream at them. It's been a while since I made one of their phone drones miserable...

I have busted out laughing this morning reading this cause  this is SSOOOOOO me and my feelings when it comes to them..  And those phone calls, yep it's been a minute since I've had to make one too. There was a point it was so bad they put some kind of flag on my phone that when I called I went straight to the supervisors phone which was good if it was the right time but bad cause most times it went to voicemail. I've been hung up on by so many comcast reps lol.  I have one of my cable boxes in my car right now (probably my 10th in the last year) to take to the local office cause I guess they only work for about 30 days at a time even brand new?? I have to gear up though cause I know it's gonna be waiting in line for about 45 minutes and then a not so nice face to face.uggggh.

 

Let's wait it out until like tuesday or so and let me know if you are receiving anything from us then we can let the techs look at the logs to see exactly what the bounce message is and go from there. Then if you have to call them you can have more ammo with the bounce message info:)

I have stopped receiving all Renderosity emails also, so very confused. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Seeing as there are at least two of us not getting Rendo emails, that seem to have started at the same time, methinks something is definitely up on the Rendo side...  :(

Have you checked your settings in:

Members>My Profile

Down at the bottom is your mail preferences. We already know that Comcast is bouncing my mail. You may need to check with your provider to see if they're bouncing yours. Comcast can be...difficult to deal with---they're a huge corporation and even when they're wrong, they can do no wrong. So they normally refuse to fix their screw-ups...

Still not getting any mail. It's OK, though. It's saving ME money. And if you don't want to fix this for me, I can't imagine doing much shopping here any more.

OH, BTW--I changed my email address and I'm still not getting any mail. So it's anything coming from Renderosity that's being blocked. I can't do anything about it from this end. Except call Comcast and make their their phone drone cry.

OK!! I just made the phone drone cry. They said it will be fixed TODAY. So could you have them try to send me email again tomorrow??

Gypsyangel, I also sent an email to the admin email address and got the following reply:

"There are several members report this same issue and we see that Comcast is the common denominator. Apparently we pushed out too many emails on that date and Comcast has a block on Renderosity. We are working with Comcast to get this resolved. We do apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have it corrected soon."

So hopefully we will see a resolution soon...

Hi everyone.

Here is a twist for you:

I haven't gotten ANY emails from Renderosity since the last site "upgrade" and STILL am getting none.

Yes, I have Comcast BUT .... my wife who is on the same Comcast account as me - just a different email address - DOES get her Renderosity emails.

If it is Comcast, why would that happen?

I tried adding Rendo to my address book. I turned off my spam filter - there was nothing in the spam box BTW.

I am sure Rendo has noticed a HUGE drop in my spending here since I never get sales or coupon offers anymore.

I think last month was the first time I never spent enough to get render rewards since it started.

Oh well. It's helping me control my 3D addiction anyway, LOL.

I get store notices, prime sales. But I do not get any ebots from the art gallerys. I'm on comcast also.I was wondering if something got switch off from here that I want to get ebots.

I "think" they have all comcast out of the "bounce" list so that they should be sending again. 

I know he was working on it today but not sure if all got completed but it's definitely in process

Are you comcast Radthorne?

Okay tomorrow I'll get back on this again to see.

 

We had a member contact comcast and comcast admitted the issue on their end and promised a resolve but from my experience comcast is SLOW so maybe they didn't do their part. If any of you that have comcast call and bug them maybe they will speed up if they haven't done their fix yet:):)

 

But I'll let you know what I find out from our end when I get in the office tomorrow

 

Stay tuned in the meantime to the daily deals page and that article archive link I gave you above so you don't miss any promotions that might go out until we get this resolved.

 

Comcast is a thorn in my side in so so so many ways so my feeling is that maybe they haven't done what they needed on their end but I can't say that 100%. I'm about 90% sure that our techs removed all the comcast emails from the bounce list so they could start trying to send again but I will confirm that tomorrow

Stacey, any further word on this from the Rendo front? I have not contacted Comcast because I have no idea what to tell them and not much conficdence that they would fix it anyway. As of today I am still not receiving any emails at all from Rendo.

Well, it looks like SOMEBODY, at either Rendo or Comcast, found the switch because a few days ago I got FLOODED with Rendo email! 91 to be exact! And, I have been getting emails regularly since.

I have seen NO coupon codes however.

I'm still not sure I am getting ALL that I should be getting.

It seems strange to me that if the problem were Comcast I would get SOME Rendo emails but not ALL.

It will be interesting to see if I get a notice of any response to this post.

Rendo stopped responding to my posts here, and my two service tickerts on this issue. Out of frustration I finally just ended up swithcing the email address on my Rendo account to one that was not through Comcast, whereupon everything was fine. Just means I now have to go to two different accounts to see all of my 3D related emails.

Radthorne, the thing that I can't figure out and no one has offered me an answer to is:

Since my wife and me both share the very same Comcast account - we only have different emails - why does SHE get all her Rendo email, and has all along, but I got shut off right at the time of the "upgrades" to the Rendo website?

Plus, it seems that everytime I hear of this thing happening to someone here it is always right after an "upgrade" to Rendo's site.

I got the notice about your above reply BTW so I guess THAT'S working anyway.
