Open the texture in the material editor and notice the bump map and mirroring of the x and y values Deb. Sometimes you can learn more by exploring textures that way. Glad to help.

I took nothing personal Deb no worries. With pictures as textures sometimes this can be a problem Deb. :O( On terrains or ground textures the picture needs to be really big.. The picture can be mirrored and even add turbulence and it still may not look right. One walk around is to use the picture as the bump map and then try and match the pictures characteristics with procedural colors. We are getting deep into material editing now. :O)

Also if your model is not grouped from SU try splitting it in vue into its individual components. Then texture each componet. :O)

One thing to try is to ungroup your SU import and then try and texture it. This may help. :O)
