Got it. Thanks Kristi for the quick response. It might help to note the Prime member requirement in the ad that has been running today:

Snarly,
I've finally had a chance to use this EZMAT tool and I just wanted to say you have done a wonderful thing. Between BB's procedural shaders and your tool you have allowed me to turn out some very nice renders. If they ever come up with a Nobel category for 3D rendering I'm nominating you.

Absolutely a 5! and yes the exclamation implies a factorial. The way [Insert deity or cosmological constant of your choice] intended.
Thread: Any way to get the dolly cam to follow a moving car? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Have tried parenting the camera to the car and then adjusting the distance of the cameras from the car until you arrived at the appropriate perspective?

Those are extraordinary demonstrations. It really stimulates my imagination to think how these techniques will play out in the CGI world. Thanks for sharing.

Very impressive piece of work. I do enjoy watching your progress on this. It would also be interesting, once the model is ready, to see a few bar stool POV shots.

I have several of Dreamland's models and have been very pleased.

I've seen this as well with tight fitting translucent clothing and specifically with Superhose. A quick fix is to turn of "Visible in Raytracing" for the figure i.e. the stockings.
Thread: Wierd bug in PP2012 -- dial boxes appear in odd places. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have seen the same thing once with PP2012. Not sure what initiated the onset. Reboot solved it as well. I have multiple monitors and keep the parameter dialog on a different display than I use for the main poser window. I attributed it to the parameter control getting confused about where it needed to paint the input box.
Thread: Poser pro 2012 Network drive glitch | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the replies. My netork machine is on before I bring up the poser machine. The mapping works fine in other apps and even Poser can see the files when I click on the add button albeit with a big red X next to each drive. This only when I first start the poser machine and bring poser up the first time. The "GPP" issues sounds like it might be what's going on. What does "GPP" stand for? I'm not familiar with the acronym.

OK. I have a follow up question. I found some highly detailed models of vehicles for both interior and exterior at places like Flat Pyramid and 3D Studio. Many of these models support .obj formats. Other than the price are there other concerns about trying to use these models in Poser? For example are the poly counts to high? Is it more trouble than it's worth to try and import them into Poser?

Thanks everyone for your responses. This is exactly what I was looking for. It appears that folks are using a mixture of tools to accomplish the extraction of all the custom elements from a character.
My original motivation for this was created when I was attempting to inject the V4 muscle morphs into an existing custom character and it was not working. It works just fine for a clean version of V4 but not for my custom character I had built up with many different tweaks. What I was looking for was a simple way to extract all custom stuff i.e.mats, morphs etc and then reapply them. It struck me that all commercial character creators must go through this process as well.
PhilC your utility seems like it might be like the cat’s pajamas with respect to my issue. I’ll wander over to your site and check it out.
