Stimpy If you want to make small adjustments in the material editor, just click on the numerical value. It will highlight and you can enter a value to two decimal places. Also if you want to adjust by one whole number at a time you can use the up or down arrows. the F.O.G.
Thread: Wrapping up Challange #1 | Forum: Bryce
Everyone's entries are good. I particularly liked #4 EricofSD (for the spotlights), #8 the 4th party (for the caustics), #13 Apache2K (for the light rays and total underwater look), and #15 Stuie (for a just beatiful picture, just needs caustics added). But my vote goes to #21 FastTraxx for details and a great picture.

Thread: Challange #1 2-1-01 | Forum: Bryce
In the Rhino Forum the challenge is for two weeks. That's usually enough time to finish, but with other things interfering maybe a month would be better and get more people participating. For my self I would probably put it off till the last few days then rush something out. So either option would be fine with me. Any longer would be too apt to lose interest. the FOG
Thread: Moving object to front of what I'm looking at | Forum: Bryce
If you haven't moved the directors view the camera should be directly opposite you in the directors view. Change to top view and move your object in relation to where the camera is, then switch back to camera view to check. To fine tune switch to left, right etc views. the FOG
Thread: Bryce brushes | Forum: Bryce
I don't know how you can use other brushes in Bryce but you can use them in Photoshop. First (In the terrain or lace editor)export your terrain and save as a .psd. Then open it in Photoshop and brush away, save your image then (in Bryce) click on the picture button at the left side of terrain editor and check your results. If not happy return to Photoshop and repeat. Hope this helps. I can expand directions if you want. the FOG
