Yes Please Diane post your knowlege on this. I took a look at the Bryce forum, and glad that someone figured tis out. I haven't tried it yet, but I need to do this in the near future. I'm asuming that you either created an alpha channel or just loaded 2 pics into the materials editor and adjusted accordingly. James

Kewl find!! A hint. Most of the patterns are incomplete. But if you take the time and browse through all the patterns in that book, you will find the same pattern, different background color, but also a different position in the scan. So by combining several peices and a simple background change, you can get a true tilable pattern. Thanks for passing on this link. James

Rumor has it (If indeed MetaCreatons holds onto Bryce) That the next upgrade of Bryce will allow Poser ..Posing within the program. I myself won't even atempt to try to get a Poser figure to animate in Bryce. You will lose all the bending properties. It will be like a posable doll, where seams and joints will not conform and or stay attached. e.g.: If you group the head and neck, then rotate it, the chest and shoulders will not move and the figure will look like it had it's head cut off and you put it on the body wrong. The above suggestion will work fine for robots and figures that don't stretch and made up of evident different body parts. James

I'm on a G4 400mhz, OS 8.6, and I do seem to have some conflicts , expecially with trans maps. But if I reboot with just the OS8.6 All (extentions on) instead of MY settings. The problem goes away. So what am I saying, you ask? Hehehe I'm agreeing that I'm fairly sure it's a 3rd part extention that's causing the problems. Or then again, you may want to ask MetaCreations if they indeed tested Poser with OS9. Cause you all know OS 10 comes out this summer! It's soooooo cool! James

Tell me in detail what's not working out. I had many problems trying to make this work at first. Check list before you complain grin: 1: Make sure all the map files are in a single folder 2: Make sure that ALL transparency maps are in greyscale not RGB. 3: You have READ the ReadMe file 4: You have not changed the proportions of the map files. I.E.: 320 x 240 to 640 x 480 is fine, but 320 x 240 to 800 x 480 may cause problems (note: these are just example sizes not the sizes of the maps) 5: you have looked at the smat.jpg and set ALL the materials to these settings. 6: Possible problem*: If the maps seem to be "flipped" import the hair.obj and check "flip UV vertical" or better yet in a paint program flip all the maps in the vertical. *Though this should not be an issue, you never know. To Snow and others who may run across this problem, I was hoping that MAC and PC hr2 files were compatable. I don't know if the patch will help either. But just import the included hair6.obj, scale and place on the figures head, parent it to the head, then save it as a hair prop. This should work (if you haven't tried it already). Then just add the tex/trans maps. The hair.obj is UV mapped for the templates. Hope this helps. James

This is over 4, maybe 5 years old, and as I'm not asking for money, or bundling it with a paid program, things should be fine. I'll have to grab my ancient copy of LogoMotion, and read the read me file, but I think that all of the files on the disk were completely Royalty FREE and can be used for any purpose. I'm hoping that because this is a site that I feel that it's among friends. It shouldn't matter. I also have seen it on 3D cafe, and other free 3d sights. If anyone at Zygote is here. Tell me if this is ok, otherwise I will indeed remove it. James
