To make 3D looking stuff. Saw pictures of them on the net and decided to try to find a program that could do it. Found a lot of them were done with a program called Poser. Went looking for it and found Amazon.com had Poser 5 for $150, so I bought it. Joy of Joy, I later found out after I had bought it, not only could I make 3D looking pictures, I could even animate them.

Acadia, how would you use this technique for animations? It would seem to be a lot of work to do dozens of frames that way. To me using the hair room seems a lot easier, because then you can animate the hair and even use wind force to blow it around.

The right ones. :o)
Hard to say really, in that V3 doesn't have a specific Greek morph.
Best bet is to find a photo of a Greek women you'd like her to look like
And then just start tweaking the various ethnicity, head shape,
lips shape, nose shape, and eye shape dials until she
matches the photo.

Buy Vue if you can afford it. Works ever so much nicer with Poser. Sorry I can't help you with Bryce but I got so disgusted with it that I dumped it.

No, Spanki, if the trans node were set to 0.0 then you would lose the effect of the trans map. It has to be set to 1.0

Actually DAZ doesn't break it down that specifically. There is only the head morph pack and the body morph pack. Asian is included in head morph, along with African, Irish, French, and Indian, among others.
Thread: P6 BVH Import: 999 frames max? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Interesting, because I have been able to import BVH files of 1400 frames. Course they are so huge that there isn't much I can do with them, an animation would take forever to render, and even doing something in the cloth room is a real chore.

Have you updated your video card software? If so maybe that is the problem. If not, maybe you do need to update it.

Kitten, actually people buy cars with engine parts missing all the time. That's why auto makers have recalls of 100,000 automobiles to replace the missing or defective part. And automobiles cost $20,000 to $40,000 or more instead of just $250 for Poser. My house had to have all new plumbing and roof shingles because the ones that came with it were defective. And the house cost $100,000. And look how many service updates Windows has, if we are just talking software.

The SAE has the face expression morphs built in so you don't need the optional head morph package to make Vickie smile. If you want to make her Chinese you will still need the head morph package.

Don't double click. Instead single click on the item and then single click on the double checkmark at the bottom.
Thread: Sound off...What is your largest file size of a PZ3? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Some of the old ones I made in Poser 5 are rather large, one is 190 MB. But with Poser 6 using compression and external morphs, I have a PZZ that is only 330 KB of the same character in a similar scene.
Thread: Lights Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I suspect what this is is a bunch of light set to really low levels in an attempt to create global lighting and they just look black because the light level is so low. That's what is nice about Poser 6, with IBL you can dump the million low level lights and just use one light to get the same effect. Try using the shadow cameras to aim your lights if you are using spotlights. Just make sure the camera you are using is for the light you want to aim and then use that light's parameter dials to move the light. Then try to get the figure in the center and it should light properly.
