grins thanks guys! i definately agree on the background..lol this was the 3rd image in the set lol, this also was the only one with hills...that took care of the back right, but the left is still missing something. hope to have some kewl images to post soon, then will work more on this one...lol (the fountain takes forever to render) working on a fish tank scene, a indoors room holding a glowing ruby type stone, and the castle pic now...lol al of which take about 12 hours to test render....lol LOL wonder if my pc would crash if i rendered all three at once? hahahahaha

lol Ben is ok, i was thinking the same thing... 95% on test render..ugg and looks like i need changes still....lol will have to leave this one go all night and hope for no storms.. think it's supposed to be clear tho, so should be ok.. tjohn, don't work too hard...may you enjoy the music, and may your coffee cup never run dry. well, i kinda work with shortcuts alot, but it looks to me, with that picture as is now, just watch the AA line move across the screen, and when it get's to the ground, just click someplace to stop the render. the top will be AA'd and the ground won't...grins (actually wish that worked in reverse....AA the ground and not trees in some of mine...lol) Jen

lol was thinking same thing br! very kewl Ornlu....this is set up with the camera inside the outer sphere? (am playing with doing that now, but not for true ambiance, for an inside room pic with a dome type ceiling...although is my cyllandrical then domelike...lol) JenC

i honestly think, if we sat, and let all the possibilties of our mind work as it has the potential to, we would see alot more then just ghosts. todays society has so many preconceptions and ideals that one must follow to be in the "norm" that i feel we are "talked" out of those beliefs. why do so many children have imaginary friends? without even ever knowing that others do, still, they have them. it's not something they see in other kids, (as lots are too embarassed to admit it outside the house) or rarely see on tv. yet as they grow older and learn that imaginary friends are "imaginary" and not real, the brain starts to process..."not real....not there"....and soon.....the friend dissapears, only to live on with other children. lol i too have a ghost story if any one wants to hear it....lol (gotta love render time) as a teenager, maybe 15-16 yrs old, we went to a church camp every year for a retreat. this cam was set on an old farm, 3 miles from nowhere, at the top of a mountain...lol anyhow, one day i woke up and fel tlike something was watching me....following me everywhere.... followed me the 1 1/2 hour drive home, and still, felt like i was being watched and followed. about a week later, the group got together again, and i started talking about how weird i felt, and the one girl that slept in the bunk beside mine told me this story. she woke in the middle of the night, not feeling well, and rolled to get out of bed, as she did , she saw two figures standing near my bunk. one was a farmer, and the other a girl about 6 with no head. the figures just stood there watching me sleep for about an hour or so till she fell back asleep. (freaky huh?) BUT i'm the type that lovessss ghost sotries, and once i found out why i felt like i was being watched (cause i was) i started talking to them...lol before y aknow it, the feeling went away. SCARY thing is, i researched that camp, and over 100 years ago, a farmer owned the ground, and his young daughter was killed in an accident. lol i like ghosts and all, but i never really did go back to stay the night again....maybe was growing out of that stage in life, maybe was my instincts saying, she CANNOT have MY head!! lol JenC

i agree with MG, definately the first... when i look at a scenic picture, i look at it through the eyes of one who is sitting in that spot, and look to see which look smore realistic, and the clarity in the first image is something i strive to create in my images, and you seem to do it so well... grins

ok, i clicked for this one on the p for picture and it goes into the procedure box. being that i did that that way, is this then like a mat instead? lol it's fun making my own lil patterns and stuff, even did one last night for scales of a fish. but i wish i knew what to call them. LOL OHHHHHhh and how come when i put pics in that procedure window to make things out of, i've done like 4 of them, why don't they stay? that red one was the first one i realized i could make a ball out of and save it in my materials lab. I think i'm going to have to add the others again, and save them as the ball in the materials lab in order to keep them handy. JenC

very very nice job on the water....looks very real....can almost feel it... perhaps, another small terrain just behind the river bank on the fae sidw, nothing huge, just to give some distance to the pic...i read what you wrote about the rolling plains, and i agree.. would love to see some rolling plains through the trees..grins JenC

LOL Who me? Never! :P I do it the easy way, I only make what i see, if you saw offscree, you'd see a big box and some walls and a ton of floating trees...my pc can be slow so to make the actual hill that the trees and castle sit on slows it down, grins so this is a floating castle, hidden by something like 50 some trees...LOL Thanks Everyone for all the great comments! grins and goes back to playin.....errrrr work winks

great pic! LOVE the boots...lol ummm only thing i can see is, maybe her upper arms...the left one is good, but the one on her right seems kinda disproportionate. With that curvy of a bod, she would have some curve to her biceps as well. and that would even out the elbow some also. look slike there's some curve there, maybe just needs repositioned? more towards the top rather then hanging in front? lol just what a sleepy eye sees.. GREAT pic! JenC

lol i do wanna add that there was no AA on this so is a bit choppy in places....the AA version blended just a lil too much...
