Attached Link: Linking P4 Runtime to P5's
Hi echo and I hope everything runs smoothly for you. :)You might want to take a look at jelisa's site (Fignations). She has a tutorial on linking your Poser 4 runtime folder with your new P5 one. I'll attach the link. For some reason the images aren't loading for her tutorial, but if you write her, she might be able to send you a .pdf file as she did me. Hope this helps!

Thanks, ynsaen. :) My P5 for Mac did come with Python, but as a newer Poser user I have to confess I haven't yet looked into using it. So are you saying I might be able to use this Python script on my Mac? I'd really love for it to be able to work, especially after I've tried a light setting with a gazillion lights that takes forever to delete one by one before I can try a new set. If anyone knows if this is possible without causing problems to my Mac, I'm all ears. Arry :)

Running P5 with the latest Panther on a G4 800mhz with 1 gig RAM. No problems since P5 came out and all is running very smoothly. :)

I've been dying to find something like this. If it also came in a Mac version I'd be thrilled. Any chance of porting it over? It really looks great, not to mention it would be extremely time saving!

Thank you so much for making the .obj file to help Mac users. It is hugely appreciated! I haven't yet had a chance to see if I can load your file into P5 after using MacConvertor, but just wanted to say thanks.
It's always appreciated when things are also workable on a Mac and I know this isn't always an option. When someone takes the time to go the extra mile, like you did, it really makes me smile. So again, thank you for at least trying and for also making another Mac user very happy! :-)

Rats. I also use FireFly almost exclusively and have been interested in purchasing some of DM's products. If I have to rely on using Poser 4 to use them, then I may need to rethink about purchasing them since I much prefer the effects I achieve using FireFly.

Thread: Dynamic Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Although I'm also relatively new to Poser (P5 at that), I have used the dynamic cloth room to create a QT movie with some very pleasing results. I really like how it shows off the flow and drape of the dynamic cloth.
Once you have rendered your animation, you can pick a still frame and use only that for a render. What's nice about this feature is that you are able to get a pose with the cloth draping in a fashion that a static render usually cannot.
Phil's tutorial is very helpful as was the tutorial I received when I purchased Nerd's Princess Wrap. Hmann also has one included with his dynamic clothing package. Just be patient. Processing the frames does take a huge amount of RAM and definitely puts the crunch on your computer's system. But I think the results are worth it. And don't forget to just have fun!
