Hmmm I just checked them out and was about to sign up when I read this in their TOS: "By setting up* a web page and associated contents in the Lycos Europe network, the member grants Lycos Europe unlimited textual rights for the associated contents to be used worldwide, free of charge and non-exclusively i.e., copied, transmitted and publically presented, integrated in compilations and distributed. This right is limited to the purpose of publishing and applying for the member's web page within - and associated with - the service selected by the member, or within the Lycos Europe network. This licence ends when all of the advertising promotions that are still continuing in the effective notice period, are finished. " Does that mean that they can print/publish or whatever any of your pictures that are on your website? Just being careful after my brush with Bizland. Alla
Thread: Safe distribution of morph targets? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thankyou for the tips, I've had some sleep now so I'm a little more coherent! JKeller - unfortunatly my hair is contained in the HR2 file, so I can't distribute it like that. Thankfully though I've just downloaded Bushi's Morph Squisher, thanks for the heads up Gryffnn, and that is doing a great job of it. Morganza - Glad you like it :) I will be working on some morphs for the bangs today, although it already has lenght morphs built in. It is already avilable in my online store, although after reading your thread about the Xena hair, you'll be looking for a black hair texture which mine doesn't have, but I'll be working on that over the next couple of days and will post it in the free stuff section when I'm done. Thread: My bizland account has ben deleted! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for all the support everybody:) I've jyst signed up for the Posermail webspace (thanks for the heads up Jim) so I'll let everone know how that pans out. For now I'll be leaving my site at NTL (until I run out of space that is) as I had a nice supprise when I discovered that they don't put any banners or pop-ups on your site at all, and Paul(my fiancee) also 10mbs of free space with them which is going unused, so if they have no objection to me keeping the files on one account and the web pages on another I think I've got it cracked! I do think some kind of warning in the form of a message on the front page may be in order though as I have noticed that a lot of people with downloads in the freestuff section have their sites with Bizland, and they might not be as lucky as me - at least I had my site backed up on my harddrive. Schlabber - did they ever get in touch with you over deleting your site? I've still not heard a thing from them.

Thread: help with magnets on hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
HI Spudgirl, the trick is to use the magnet zone so that the magnet only effects the area that you want it to. ie. position the magnet zone over the ends of the hair then drag the magnet downwards using the "y" dial would be a an easy way of making the hair longer. You also use the "grouping" tool to select specific ploygons to be morphed with the magnet. You then have to bring up the properties of the magnet zone and tick the box named "group" then in the drop down select the group that you want it to effect. I hope that I've explained this clearly, just because it makes sense to me usually means it's double dutch to everyone else :)

My youngest sister was premature and very ill at birth, I can remember that she was in hospital for a long time, but now she towers above all the other women in my family (all 5 footers!) and is a 23 year old lovable hell raiser with all the energy in the world! My thoughts and prayers are with all three of you, good luck Love and hugs Alla
