Well the thing is because of my light setup, the shadow cast on the ground, wich is not just the ground plane, ends up far too long and streched, IÂ do want shadow to be cast on other figures on the scene though.
I could render the figures, hide them, then render the ground and turn them back up , but there are many figures on the scene, some of them with certain parts hidden, so doing this process over and over for every image would be very time consuming.

Quote - I can't even figure out how to load a figure, let alone a texture, in Daz|Studio. I've opened it, clicked around, got frustrated and closed it.
Yep, that was me when I first tried Daz|Studio like a year ago, exact same thing, clicked around and couldnt figure out how to load a figure, I tought the interface was criptic back then.
But a few weeks ago I decided to give it another try, watched an interface overview on youtube and a few minutes later I was rendering.
At least PowerPose is worth a try, really, even if you hate the program.
Its all about personal prefference like you all said =)

Thank you for the help =) that's very useful. And yes, it is seams problems that make me want to try this. I'll give BodyPaint a try.
Importing the original Obj from the Geometries folder means I'll have to manually set all the textures (I'm thinking V3 >.<) that's why I was thinking about a plugin to load either poser scenes or something, but I dont have Poser Pro.
I'll see if I can find those free plugins around.

Thank you Bob, I think I found the issue, the OBJ importer/exporter that comes with 3dsMax 9 seems to be broken, no matter the settings I try, can't get it to work, Guruware's plugins works like a charm tho, got it on the first try.

You have no idea how much time I've been stuck because of this. The Habware plugin used to work with me just fine on Max 6, I dont know whats up now, since as far as I know, its the same one.
