I like this. I need to start collecting some more houses for Poser.
This looks like a great addition.
Thread: Windows XP - Magic Bullet - Rendering Problems Gone | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have some very close German friends. Too bad that my friend's company is sending him back across the water in about six months. But, I'm sure that they will live well right across the border from Switzerland. Beautiful country, from what I've heard.
Thanks a lot for the info, Puntomaus. Later today, I'll give the website a try.

Oh, yeah, and I should mention that I am running Windows 2000 on my office workstation, with Linux on the server. Maybe I should try Poser there, too.........
Thread: Problems with Stephanie | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a fairly high-powered machine, too. But I also occasionally experience render problems in Poser. Over time, I have come to believe that the problem lies not in my hardware, but in the Poser software itself.
It's irritating in the extreme. So far, the only way(s) that I've discovered to get around the render problem is through various work-arounds.
One solution is to render only part of a scene, save the render as a .TIF file, and then insert the .TIF as a background picture to the rest of the scene. The downside to this method is its effect on lighting and shadows. However, the lighting and shadows can be "fixed" by postwork in Photoshop. Of course, this procedure takes more time and work than I would like. But, if you want the scene, this is sometimes the only way.
Another issue: unfortunately, these "refusal to render a scene" problems often seem to be brought on by various types of hair. When I delete the hair prop/figure, the scene renders just fine.
Sometimes, I have found that the problem can be solved by substituting a different hair type. Of course, this might mean that you lose the hairstyle that you really want to use in the scene. Once again, you can try the trick of rendering, saving as a .TIF, and then using the .TIF as a background picture to the rest of the scene.
In my opinion, Poser's greatest weakness is in its rendering capabilities; or, rather, the lack thereof.
If we ever see a Poser 5, I hope that it will address these problems.
Hope this helps. It's frustrating. Believe me, I know.
Thread: Aeris for Stephanie in the marketplace now.. | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Tell you what, Gabriel. I'll make a deal with you.
You put stuff up in the marketplace, and I'll buy it.
How's that sound?
Thanks once again.

I'll buy it. Thanks. And I'm glad that I could help out with that loneliness thing :)

You might be taking away some of the Tavern's business. It's all domestic (I mean domesticated) anyway.
Wish you the best with this one. Off-topic should generate some real interest.

I just recently purchased Nicole.
That package alone would convince me to buy this one, too.
Thanks.

Interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing this done with other types of clothing, too.
