You cab still get a competitive Carrara discount when buying Cinema4D from a reseller (not Maxon). About 50$ off the 950$ low end Prime version and 10$ off the 3500$ high end Studio version. Toolfarm has a "deal" on Studio so less Carrara rebate than usual. Then there is the annual updates package at 250-500$.

Since C4D costs from 900 to 3500 dollars, no. I have run Cinebench though...
Latest R20 and not the cheap 900 dollar prime version, ships with AMDs GPU renderer.

It seems that DAZ split the database into 2 version from 4.9, since only 4.8 or older can restore a database reset for Carrara, So anyone upgrading to a newer DS version than 4.8, must to the the database backup, otherwise SmartContent will get lost forever at the first database reset.
