I don't have this, but it looks like from the readme that the gloves are a separate figure, so I would first make sure you are selecting the ARMS for the Glove and not for the figure itself. If you chose the figure by accident the figure, the arms would disappear as you mention.
I would expect that if you are selecting and hiding the glove only on the correct arm, on the glove figure, that it should work. If not, maybe check the Surfaces tab (for the glove figure), and see if there is a right/left glove surface that you can drop the Opacity or Cutout Opacity (iray materials) to hide the other glove.

Iray...and I render toon style figures :) I only use 3delight when I want to use the Visual Style shaders.

So is there a good video of taking G3F in an outfit with some morphs, as an example, and loading her into G3F and rendering. I have iClone 5 or 6 and it was just not that easy to get Daz stuff in there...but maybe its easier now?

Be curious to see the price point for it, and what is included. I bought iClone a while back, and really liked the animation part, but the marketplace was nuts, and the figures from one generation to the next were limited. I got frustrated with pulling in DS characters. If this gets a good focus standalone it could compete, as (IMO) DS's animation is its weak spot now, since it resolved dynamics.
Then again, the free software model Daz has, will make it hard to lure hobbyists, and beginners.

It looks like my old Shaderworks Figure Manager won't work anymore, and he is out of the business 
Will keep playing and if things look promising I may go in for the scene toy pro product.

@Boni - Thanks for that screenshot! Just seeing that I could change the Library to have a details pane, etc was a huge timesaver, lol! Someone should make a Poser for DS users tutorial/steps, that would point out how you can setup Poser more similar to DS so that the learning curve is less. Maybe I'll start taking notes and do it ;-)
Do you know of good toon resources (like textures and skins) that people have made or for sale, that are recommended? I am going more for the classic toon look, like THIS, but more cell-shaded (multiple tones).

I just got a response, and they said to "RELOAD" (i.e. redownload) the installers now. They said, not all installers uploaded to the Server correctly, and they have fixed it.

Yea, I got a ticket for the same thing with SM. I made a forum post over there too, and more chimed in. Seems a common failure at this point...

I am stuck on some installer failures, so I am not using it yet, but I got a support ticket in and a SM Forum post (seems I'm not the only one having trouble), and hope it resolves soon!
