Hiya, Clint! I didn't notice that...I tend to ignore posts that start with something like "WTF"...

(I know pix are small but figured you just needed to see the basic format.)

agiel has it on his "to-do" list; I think part of the problem with things not found on the server might be because of the switch to the new software here and the servers, too.

You might want to check on their copyright rules before using any photos, though.
Thread: Vue 6 interface | Forum: Vue
Phantast, what do you mean, "if the code is completely new "? At the e-on software website page about Vue 6, I saw where it says; "Vue 6 is based on an entirely redesigned internal architecture, and will provide enhanced functionality in all aspects of the program." But I didn't see that the code was going to be entirely new.
Am I missing something?

Sarah, look in the Backroom, you can find the link in the Vue forum header. In there, look in General Tips and How To. There's a lot of handy info there, including instructions on how to add objects to your libraries.
Thread: Vue 5 Infinite - beginners? | Forum: Vue
Hi sauk99, welcome to the Vue forum! Don't be discouraged, none of us learned Vue 5 Infinite in 2 or 3 days! I've been using it since it came out early last year and I'm still getting to grips with it!
Definitely check out the backroom here for lots of tutorials and helpful information, as well as the tutorials at e-on software. E-on also sells some great training resources here. And as Lord Wexford mentioned, Cornucopia3D has a forum dedicated to Vue beginners, as well as Classroom and Resource areas to help get you going.
Thread: Alpha Planes in Poser ? | Forum: Vue
I think here, most folks use Poser but bring Poser stuff into Vue and do their rendering in Vue; I know I do quite a bit, but don't render in Poser. Whereas, folks in the Poser forum most likely render in Poser as well and would be able to give you details on the alpha planes in Poser. Anyway, hope someone there can help you out!

Thread: Little help? | Forum: Vue
As far as your problems with Vue rendering black, this sounds like it would be either an update issue, or maybe the drivers for your graphics board. If I were you, I"d head over to e-on and put in a tech support ticket; there might be an easy answer for this!
And you're welcome!

For the Poser problems, Brian, I recommend you post over in the Poser forum. That's where I have gotten a lot of help and answers regarding the program.
Thread: Little help? | Forum: Vue
I recommend you double check your Vue version against the update page at e-on software to be certain.
Regarding Poser, you will get that error if you have a hang or crash of Poser while you're trying to load a figure. You need to go to the Poser geometry folder and delete the .rsr file associated with the obj file. Once you do that, you can restart Poser and load the figure and Poser will regenerate the geometry .rsr and you'll be fine.

For Vue, what version of Vue are you running? (Vue 4, Vue 5 Esprit, Vue 5 Infinite?) Do you have the latest update?
