Yes its troublesome for sure. I found my Tempest for Sadie at (link removed by Moderator-SpookieLilOne)
You have to pay $16 to get an invitation...hahahaha...So I've blasted around several social sites why pay for it when you can download (by me the original creator) for free from here at Renderosity. I have plans to report them through a couple of anti-piracy sites. As I'm incorporated...I sure I can find someone to help me out.
Been meaning to give a heads up here...tons of stuff and be some Rendo folks work is there too.

Not being able to afford Poser 11 I don't even know the default new figures. What I plan to focus on is:
- Strictly Poser content
- Star by Lady Littlefox (the Poser Version) for Poser.
- Toons mainly Sadie
- Creating my own Toons (prays)
Personally I've always hated Studio, that's just me...I know others love it.

I guess it depends on the prop...is it rigid like a sword or a shield. then its better to parented to figure. If is meant to be part of the clothing say a pocket or patch then it would be better to just change the texture map with with an image editor.

Unfortunately I had this same problem. I created a couple of "New Figures" by playing around. When I when to my Poser Runtime they were not there. I checked my user files...not there. I finally did a whole PC search and found them...I should have opened the file location to see exactly where they were stored but I was too impatient. Its not the quick way to do it, but it worked. So if nothing else try that.

Question...are you talking about making 3D models or images to to be brought into various graphics programs? I have all the Original Daz Dinosaur models but if you're talking images...I'm a big Photoshop user and old movie based images would be a ton of fun for me!

What version of Photoshop are you using? I never use layer masking as frankly I never quite got it. There are other ways to achieve what you want to do. But it does depend on what version you're using. I use the "Camera Raw" filter for punching up images but that comes with PS CC 2015.
