There are no dials for bend, twist, or side to side on the individual body parts. The rotate x,y and z dials are there. I'm wondering if they substitute for bend, twist and side to side, or if the wrong file was somehow provided for download. There was no mention of this in the readme file. The head morphs are there. I am waiting to hear back from the vendor, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

To put it simply: The book will not be a compilation of the 'Best of Digital Art', it will be a collection of images created by the artists who most willing to spend money on a gamble. In the end, you are going to have a lot of people who paid $20 and up and will recieve absolutely nothing return for their hard earned cash but a rejection notice. I don't care how often this sort of thing happens and I don't care if it's standard procedure in the art world at large - it's still just Wrong - wrong - Wrong! Anyone with a little common sense can see this. Linda B

Thanks for your help. I think the problem had something to do with my settings for the bump in P5. Once I set the bump back to the default setting, the pixelation was gone. The bump looked better with the settings I had, but I had to change them back to default to get rid of the pixelation. Thanks to all who took time to reply. Linda B

Thanks for the link! I found the info I needed with one of the links in that thread. There is so much to learn with Poser. I've been at it for years (sporadically), and I still feel like a beginner. LindaB

Solved! I feel pretty dumb about not thinking of 'Launch to Factory State' myself, but that solved the one problem. Then I reinstalled Vicky 3, and everything is fine! She is beautiful! Thanks so much everyone for your help. Linda B

Thanks everyone for all your help! So far I've got the problem with the morphs solved, following Cresent's advice, and all the dails for morphing the face are there. I didn't have as much luck with the Poser 4 problem, though. I deleted the blmilwom_v3.rsr file. Then when I started Poser 4 up, something weird happened. Instead of opening with the default figure and default camera, it loaded with Victoria 3, with the head camera, exactly the way I left it when Poser 4 crashed the first time. I think P4 is corrupted now. I tried closing that pose and then starting a new scene with the default figure. Tried loading Vicky3 again and got the same error messages. Went back, deleted blmilwom_v3.rsr again, Poser then starts up with Vicky 3 as I left her the first time, viewed with the head cam. It seems frozen in time from the moment the system first crashed with Vicky 3, the defaults for opening the Pose room on start up appear to be corrupted, at least that's what I'm guessing. Then I tried going back and deleting blmilwom_v3.rsr again, but it isn't even there anymore. Maybe it is now time to try and understand the Ultra Confusing Materials Room (does anyone actually understand it????) in Poser 5, at least I can use her in Poser 5. What a mess. I'm beginning to think I will have to uninstall and reinstall Poser 4, unless anyone can suggest something else I can try to fix Poser4?? anyone??? thanks. Linda B

I'm waiting for the day I can get all 8 of my cats in one photo, but it looks like it'll take some digital manipulation, because some of the cats hate each other. I could really get into a Cat Festival!

I finally figured out what went wrong. When I copied my old Poser files to my external drive, somehow the content of the libraries never were copied over - when I opened the folders they were empty. Fortunately, I still had the files in my old computer, so I was able to copy everything again and this time it worked. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. I really appreciate it :-)

But is 'not popular'the same as 'not good'? I struggle with this question all the time. You have a distintive style, don't hinder it by being overly concerned about what people like. I have to tell myself this all the time. My opinion - keep exploring the areas that interest you and see where it leads. I like the geometric stuff, but I'm not thrilled with the Seirpinskies. But that's just me. They could lead you to something really interesting...
