Hi thanks for the replys
I checked in my Forum options and there are no notifications ticked.
I then got a email notification of a post by dopeydesign "Burning Spots"
I clicked on the link to unsubscribe and went there.
There was no where to unsubscribe from only a "subscribe to forum" on the top right.
as I am not ticked to get notifications from this forum and I have not ticked to get notification from this tread why am I getting emails

Just one item on your advice
When I want to save a JPG file
I go to the rop right icon on the render window
Go to export image
Choose JPG as save as type
Put in file name
select save
this bring up a JPEG export compression setting facility, default is 75
I accept this and it exports
I do not see the drop down for quality selection box you mentioned
Could you advise
as mentioned I am using Poser 7

Thanks for the advice
I have checked Philc out and whilst it does look reasonable for rope works I am still left with a problem on how to arrange the knots.
Without knots the ropes holding the barrels on deck do not look realistic
Is there any tutorial for detailing knots for ropes or maybe even poses for ropes
