Now just where are you getting the electricity from? Leave the igloo alone - it looks just fine. I never saw a shiny igloo yet. If this is your first then god help the rest of us. Excellent! The Bryster (Chris)

So what if they don't give us what we want. Apart from the usual gripe of slow rendering, Bryce has got it all as far as I can see. It's nice to get upgrades ect, but I'm happy with B5. The Bryster (Chris)

Those of you looking for modern fantasy imagery may like to checkout ROGER DEAN . He did most of the album covers for the rock band 'YES'. YESWORLD.com is worth a look too. There is also a guy called 'REMO' at 'REMO's World'. He likes fairies and all that..... Now, where's that troll I did last year......... The Bryster (Chris)

Jeez! I hated school. Still do and I haven't been there for years! LOL Someone told me that everyone remembers a good teacher - well I only remember the bad ones, and that's all of them. If I could meet them all now I'd probably kill them. They treated me like dirt and made my life a misery. Now in later life, having had to deal with my kid's teachers I find myself still repelled by them. They complain that they can't disipline the kids and that kids scare them. Well tough! They and their predecessors brought it on themselves. We're only getting our own back. Sorry, but I needed to let off some steam......... The Bryster (Chris)

Thorrax: Yes I did EVERYTHING in Bryce 3 but I use B5 now. No matter. I don't have a tut but I'll send you the BR3 file (Zipped) if you like. It's only about 250kb but I'll need your e-mail adress. You can then strip it down and see how I did it. Have fun. The Bryster (Chris)

You could do worse than read the manual...tsk 'that' word again. When I first came across Bryce I played around with it and got nowhere. I thought it just a bit too weird compared to things like Imagine or Max. After a while though I got thinking and tried to make a chess piece, after that I was hooked. I won't use anything else (apart from poser and a few support 3d progs.) Check out my website and take a close look at the standard chess set. That was my first real composition. Good luck and most of all.....have fun! The Bryster (Chris)Thread: Need help with candle flames and darkened rooms | Forum: Bryce

Jausse: Is'nt it strange that my first impression was one of war. I think first impressions are very important. Now that you have called your wonderful work 'The Race' I 've re-examined both and yup! There it is - A group of flying machines racing. And no, there are no energy beams hitting the lead ship. So why did I think 'WAR' when I first saw your work? The explanation is simple. I am expecting war, I see it everyday in the news and in the world all around us. What I should have seen in your work was peace and (perhaps)friendly competition. We all see different things in different ways, and perhaps my first impression was unfair...However, it is still a fine piece of work and I look forward to more of the same. The Bryster (Chris)

You know? This is a fabulous image. I can't find a thing wrong with it. My only gripe - and this is just my philosophy - is that it is a shame this had to be about war. The flying machines could so easily have been lifeforms........ The Bryster (Chris)
