Thanks very much for the replies.
I actually did email D3D yesterday and got a response last night. He did then test the files for me and it seems they work just fine in prior versions of Poser. So I pulled my hair out all day for nothing.
Frustrating to say the least.

OH and just to add, IMHO average is beautiful. What I meant by beautiful is 'magazine type, barbie proportions, etc. Basically unattainable beauty. And people say they want realism lmao....

Joe, I love love love your characters. Every time you post screengrabs I'm like 'ooooh awesome'.
I worked with pjz99 on a character that was niche. Lots of people said she'd be wanted. Her texture is actually fantastic. Pjz is a slave driver lmao and I put a LOT of time into that texture. It's still one of the best that he or I have. But guess what, the character didn't sell for squat.
I learned the hard way that what sells in this market is beautiful people and fairy people. Period.

Never really seen much of Roxy. I actually really like parts of her body. But her face, armpits and feet ruin it for me.

Thread: Injection Morph from Hex OBJ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Glad you got it figured out! It can be a real pain to find all the info anymore. I know I had a heck of a time until Vilters wrote that out for me.

Thread: Injection Morph from Hex OBJ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes it is possible. Although fair warning I have no clue at all about DS. Vilters was kind enough to write a tutorial on doing just this not too long ago for me.
Here is the relevant part of that:
I use an import scale factor of 500.00 and export factor of 0.002
FULL BODY MORPH
Open Hexagon, yeah, you do not need Poser.
Open => Wavefront obj, and load the figure object from the Geometries folder.
In the Open window!!!
1.000
None
X
Y
Z
4 BLANKS
and select; Merge groups = put a X in the suare
Your obj will load as a singel group enabling you to morth over the group seams.
In the right window you will find only a single group.
Click on the little blue triangele in the left border as before, and all your material zoens will be there.
texture your object as before
Set color ans specualr to white using the sliders, and load the texture for each material group.
Voila, textured obj in Hex.
Morph, move the points, lines, poly's.
DO NOT DELETE or ADD any...
When ready?
Export => Waverfront obj., also with "merge groups" selected and the rest
1.000, NONE, X, Y, Z, and Blanks.
Now!!!!!
Open uvmapper free
load the morphed object. File => load model => load you morphed object.
File => Import UV's... => Open the ORIGIONAL UNMORPHED V4 object here...
Save model => Save and overwrite your morphed object... (or give a new name you can clearly find.
Open poser
Load V4
Figure=> load Full Body Morph=> point to your morphed object.
Voila, done.
SYMETRICAL PARTIAL BODY MORPH
Did you import V4 in Hex with the option " Merge groups selected"? As I stated in my tutorial?
If you did, Hex does not care if the feet are in different groups.
Hex made one group.
So yes, in that case you can put symetry ON.
But?
Maintain control.
Hex makes errors in symmetry sometimes.
I always X-Check
Sometimes I selct points, other times I select edges, sometimes I select poly's.
Just X-check that Hex did do its symm thing.
Then for your injections, dimension 3d has a couple utilities for sale here that you can do it with OR you can try to follow this tutorial: http://nerd3d.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=13

Thread: how can i prove / disprove the results of increased ray trace bounces? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am honestly pretty much clueless on these type of lighting things, so Idk if my response is even worth giving. But I'll try anyway.
Could you do two different renders of the exact same scene - change nothing but the raytrace bounces and then open those images up in photoshop.
If you go to adjustments - curves, a graph is shown that I assume represents the levels of light in the image. SS your graph for each and then lay the SS over each other. If there is a difference in the graph, maybe that is the proof of difference.
Now mind you I could be WAY off the mark on this. Hopefully BB sees your thread.

Pumeco,
Never too crude for me lol.
Just last week I was doing something with V4 and M4. Got done with M4 and deleted him out of the scene. I had them in the exact same zero position prior to his delete. So I pan my camera back out of zoomed in face shot and found that my Victoria had an interesting new development. I had forgot to delete M4 gens so they were sitting right there on V4. I laughed and considered a render.
Can't tell you how many times a penis has gone missing in a scene only to locate it oddly placed in a render later.

So glad I wasn't drinking when I read that.
Best post ever! I'm printing this out and keeping it in my wallet!!!!
But, it would have been more concisely stated had you included image 1 in your first post instead of wasting forum bytes with three posts. :P
LOL Bob, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I get bored sometimes and do these things. I have another somewhere of "forum troll posting"

Quote - Are you familiar with nerd3d.com? he has a lot of useful info there, including how to create inj/rem files.

Some of the info there I think is a bit outdated from what I remember, but most is still very valid.

I was not, or at least not that I can recall. Thank you.

Oh there are for sure some people who still do answer. Heck I've had people, Vilters for example, take the time to write out full tutorials for me. My signature references people who have helped me immensely. Also of course there is BB and PhilC both whom sell and help in huge ways. JoePublic, Cage, although I don't know if they sell or not, both have been willing to answer questions for me.
It's very possible that those willing to answer just aren't around much anymore. An example: I recently posed a thread about how to create 'REM' that actually remove. I did get a response. But it didn't explain how to do it. Although I know for a fact that this is something that MANY know how to do. Wound up having to purchase 2 utilities from the MP just to create the darn injections/removes. Of course I opened them up after the utility did its work and have an understanding now. I paid $32 for that answer lol. They used to be mostly free.

Thread: OT- Do you still listen to radio? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Northern Illinois University has a great Classical station I listen to. That's all I will bother with on the radio though. Other than that I listen to metal or punk or folk on CDs.
