I just made a small bit of headway buy unticking the displacment box . you dont get the poke through . but the clothes are still going grey? as you can see the skin is fine!

to anser one question. i tried it in both render setting before i posted and they are the same result. this was rendered in firefly.Â

I have all the fairy's saved so i can reload them at any time at the 40% scale. the issue is some poses trigger the whole thing to scale up and that messes with the hair and clothes so it can get pretty messy depending on how much i have in a scene. the V4 fairys work great its the Mike 3 ones that play up mostly

I think i have a way around this, but ill ask here before i try it as it seems alot of work.Â
If i scale down the figures in Blender and then put them back in poser and re-rig them would that solve the problem of scaling up with poses?Â
