heya contest!? wohoo! actually, i have been messing with the frog; i made a new texture template for it. do you want to try working with that? i also made tree frog and poison arrow frog cr2s, and a passel of textures. im planning to add some more morphs and release the whole package. here is a little sneak preview: herps rule! mammals drool!

heya; wohoo! just in time. :) i had a problem copying props from a p3 cr2 to... actually, another p3 cr2. i copied all props, i copied each prop, but no matter what i did, the props would not go onto the target file. :/

heya; if that lapel part has a different material than the rest, you could try selecting by material (in uvmapper) and giving the lapel and collar its own uv map. you could try a spherical or cylindrical map so it wont split fron to back. or, you can do what i often do: paint the texture in your image editor, load the obj into poser and zoom in on the problem spot. load the texture and use texture viewing mode, of course. see the problem. switch to the image editor, do a little adjustment, save. go to poser, hit render (i like to render to a new window, 2x2 pixels, no texture, no bump, not shadows, no antialiasing) and cancel. the new texture will reload. see the problem. fix further. oh... or, you could stick it in painter 3d, and paint on the model over the seams. be careful, though, as painter 3d will cause a line to go between the front part and the back part on the texture map, drawing over anything in between. which is kinda annoying, but salvageable.

heya; don't gotta wait for poser 5. just use uvmapper to remap 'em. like i did with the cat, so the face was head-on and the skin was laid out like a skin rug. (will put that on my list of things to do.) ('big face cat' is at poserworld, under textures.)

hey... you chopped off his head!?!?! tsk tsk tsk! well, it is a nice picture anyway. the zebra skin also looks kinda small for a zebra. unless she's into killing baby zebras, too. (oh no! it's cruela de vil!) you can try the photo textures that mitch has... for wolf, lion, and two for the fish. actually, i think the wolf and lion at least are posted on the fun stuff. but it might be because the lion uv map is in profile, and when you see the head head-on, all those faces going across have their pixels stretched sideways.

wow; it is cool! i'd say it is done. unless you want to get REALLY picky and try something slightly more fancy on the briefcase and glasses. is the briefcase metal? maybe, i dunno, a faint reflection or something. but not really neccessary.

no no no no no this drove me nuts when i started... printing size vs screen size. the dpi is like the line/screen size. yeah, if you're doing a screen image picture, 100dpi is the maximum a screen can show. if you're printing.... that's a whole 'nother story. it's like 72 dpi is a real grainy newspaper image, and 300dpi is a better quality magazine image. its still made of tiny ink dots, but they're not as gigunda. if you print your 576x720 image at 72 dpi, you get a 8x10" image. if you print your 576x720 image at 200 dpi, then yeah, you get a 2"-whatever sized picture. if you MEANT to have a 200 dpi 8x10" picture, you have a problem! uh... see?
