Gorgeous! Are you going to sell it??? My opinion is that you might want to make both a High Res and Low Res version and offer them together. There are times when you want that much detail and there are times when you don't need it. Looks great so far.

Buy more RAM. Only Mac OS allows you to "allocate memory" to applications. Windows just uses anything that is available in the system. How much RAM do you have?

The Metal Plate texture is on the Bryce5 CD in the Metals catagory of extra textures. When I installed Bryce a while back I added all the extra textures that come on the CD. Most people don't even know they have all these extras.

They're dropping like flies. ;-) But seriously, sorry to see you go Scott. I wish you much luck in all your future ventures.
Thread: Another effort to manage the Poser Library | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My Poser folder is so large (approaching 5 Gigs) that I am seriously considering deleting all my figures that are Poser4, 3, 2 &1 native, and most of their clothes and hair too. I'm using PoserProPack and I rarely ever use Poser4 people because of all the Millennium characters I own. I keep a copy of Poser4.0.3 for creating facial expressions and poses for P4, so I do have all those people in that folder. I'm just thinking it might help PPP work a little better without all those unused files and models clogging up the finder. Any thoughts?

Fine with me, I'm very cool headed about this because I have nothing to hide. I just don't understand your "claim" about my poses. I made mine, you made yours. If there is any similarity between them it is purely coincidental, and I will back that up any day of the week. I've never seen yours, and I believe you if you say you never saw mine. So let's both agree that we had a similar idea at the same time, no harm, no foul. Feel free to contact me in private if you like to discuss this. Like I said, I have nothing to hide.

Hey, I'm not starting anything. I didn't accuse anyone of anything. I'm just saying loud and clear for the record that I have not and would not steal from anyone, period. I don't know where FanDancer's accusations are coming from, but since she brought it out into the light of day I think they should be disproven in the light of day as well. Damage is being done to my reputation for no reason and I am entitled face my accuser. I'm contacting Steve Kondris from Daz3d's brokering dept. in hopes that he will clear this up for us. I have no intention of starting a flame war over this, but I will not be labled a thief by anyone.

Whoa! FanDancer, slow down. I didn't make any claims against you, nor had I seen your poses before I submitted my set to Daz3d over two months ago. I've been selling facial expression sets through daz3d for over a year now. Every time they put out a new model, I put out a set of facial expressions for them. Lately they have been asking for more rounded sets so I decided to throw in some eye poses, body poses and hand sets with them. I really don't follow what other people are making, people have been copying the idea for my expression sets since I put out my first set. You are certainly welcome to put your set out and sell them anywhere you like. I don't have an exclusive right to make poses and neither do you. Look around you in the marketplace, there are dozens of pose sets for Mike and Vicki from lots of artists. I have no intention of taking any legal action against you, why would I? If you are accusing me of stealing from you, you'd better be damned sure you know what you are saying because that is a lie plain and simple. I don't steal work or ideas for products from anyone, I never have and I never will. But if you really believe I stole these from you, how would I have done that? I'm just curious because I don't believe we've ever had any contact, and I know you haven't sent me any files. So where would I have seen these poses of yours? Geez fella, mine have been out for months and I'm not accusing you of stealing mine am I? DAZ3D hasn't said one word to me regarding your "alleged" submission prior to mine, nor did they inform me of any competing products when I submitted mine. I think you need to relax a bit and double check your facts before you accuse me of stealing again. I never accused you of the same.

I guess there's no Mac version out there huh? Hmmm...anyone with Tailor want to make some clothing morphs for my Babette and Brianon characters for Vicki 1&2? I'm not longer selling them at daz3d, but I'm considering selling them here if I can make some clothing morphs for them. If anyone is interested let me know, you'll get a free copy of both models and maybe some other cools stuff too. ;-) You can email or IM me. Thanks.

Thread: San Juan Clipper for mboncher "adrift" | Forum: Bryce
Ah, yes. That looks really nice. I'll bet if you imported it into Poser first you could use magnets to make the sails look like they are luffing. Then export it to Bryce and you'll be all set. ;-) Good luck, make sure you post it again after your changes.
Thread: Gamma correction option? | Forum: Bryce
You're right orn4rk, my non gamma is darker but my gamma image isn't washed out like the other two. I remember back before they had Gamma correction (Bryce2 & 3D) my images would look okay on my monitor, but very dark on my friends PC. I guess that's why. I could be wrong, but I think render time is pretty consistant from render to render. I can't explain why my gamma on render took longer, hmmm.....It just gets curiouser and curiouser. ;-)
