Thread: Head morph --- can you help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you crocodilian,
you are right, I will try to make big pupils. I really appreciate it.
"Big eyes" are attractive (probably because babies have relatively large eyes compared with the size of their heads)
You are right. They are cute, and innocent. I should carefully look at babies, and children.
Thanks again. Your suggestions are very helpful.

Xantor, nerd, SWAMP, and crocodilian, thank you very much for your responses.I am going to try what you suggested.
SWAMP, I will try them, and may ask more questions.
Crocodilian, her eye is big.
I was trying to make a cute girl. I put some anime flavors on her, but tried to keep her reasonably realistic.Eyes are larger by about 20%, and mouth, and chin are smaller like Japanese anime, but not too much.
I wanted to keep her reasonably realistic rather than anime style.
This is an experiment. What is cute. It is subjective like art. Therefore, it is very nice to hear opinions.
Thank you very much.

Thank you Arleen, I will get it.
Yes, it was a Zbrush problem.
Probably it was working for the old version, when Glen wrote the tutorial.
I hope that they will fix it, or Glen can mention it in his tutorial.
Anyway I am happy now.
Thank you very much.

I exported head only.
I am sorry. I modified the eye lids to make a slant shape. I did not modify the eyes. The eyes were not exported.

Yes, that is what I did.
I am not sure that the morph is working OK. When I adjusted the morph dial to 1, it seems working OK. But the face is narrow if the dial value is less than 1, and wide if the dial value is larger than 1. I only modified the eyes when creating the morph target. I did not change the shape of the head.
Is this normal?

Yes, it was what I was doing.
Second one, I tried importing the object, and exporting it.
This was just to try flip normal.
After that I did same way as I did in the above one to make morph.

I checked the material. The object color was white and the Highlight/Ambient colors were black.
I tried flip normal
It improved as is shown in picture2-A for some lighting condition.
For most lighting conditions, it was like Fig2.B.
Thank you.

I am playing with Lightwave Demo, and Cinema4D6CE. I am going to decide which way I should go in next few months. It is one of the important factors to import Poser animation, including Mimic. Stability, and reliability are key issues.
I am very much interested in your tutorial.
Thank you.
