Well, I found out how to delete the preferences and all, but the location the instructions sent me to only had the Library prefs xml. I copied that to my desktop, just in case, and deleted it. Started Poser again, but no luck. It still will not open. I noticed that the windows dialogue box had a button for more details on this, so I opened it and copied what was there. But have no clue what is happening and not sure if anyone here would either, but here is what it had:

Thank you, I'll try to find that and see if it works. I really, really hope so! I still have ver. 5, but much prefer 7, especially since I spent money on it!
And I DID cry...lol. Posering is one of the joys of my life, and I'd be lost without it.

Thank you for your reply.
But I uninstalled and reinstalled Poser, also reinstalling the SR3 as well. Unfortunately, it didn't work. It installed with my registration # and everything, just as if it hadn't been removed at all. When I opened it, it did the same thing. I'm devastated. I love my Poser. This is ver. 7, btw.
I don't know what to do! I have DAZ Studio, but can't get it to run on my new pc, for some reason. But Poser does...or did.
:crying:

Oh no! I followed the instructions exactly, but Poser will not open at all now! It gets to the splash screen and freezes. I tried reversing what I did, but it still doesn't work! What could I have done wrong?? :crying:

Thanks for the script, ockham! And thanks for the tip on saving the document first, IsaoShi; hopefully, I'll remember to save at least once from now on...LOL!

Me, too. And it only screws up when I've done something that looks COMPLETELY awesome...and haven't saved.
Yes! And after I've spent quite a bit of time on it as well...:( I know I should do incremental saves, but when one is in the 'zone', that's a distraction! At least for me it is XD

Oh my...I LIKE that! And I'm not really into scarves....but I'd like to have it too! Very pretty texture too. Btw, sharecg is a good site for free stuff...one doesn't have to wait to download like some other sites.

Count me in on wanting to know this! I seriously don't like having to close poser when it hangs like that...'specially as I'm always forgetting to save my work...sigh

Oh my...VERY interesting! Another thanks for the info, too.
I don't think I want to know what Fig. 4 was meant to do. :P

She's very pretty, Rebel! When I first saw her I instantly thought of my favorite girl, Alice, of course, because of the extreme slant of her eyes, but there was enough difference in the rest to make a distinction. Her body looks very nice, too. My only problem with custom body morphs is getting clothes to fit her; but then those who don't clothe their models don't mind that...LOL!
Don't let others discourage you! It takes time to master anything and you seem to be doing quite well. Keep it up!

Yes, they do.
Click her head and they are in the Morphforms: Eyes up and down and side to side.
I don't see the trans dials there though, or the scale, tho Morphforms also has head size.

Looks like BriBri is settling in nicely, Connie! And she's obviously helping to soothe your heartache over Tiggers...such a dear! I'm so glad things are going well for you all.
Poor little Tom...I'd have to do something for him, even tho we've got so many cats here! Is there a no-kill shelter in your area? That might be a good option for him. At least he'd have a safe place and he'd get neutered and all.
scanmead, that's hilarious about Packy! :D
Just yesterday, there was a story on the news from Charlotte, NC (40 mi. South of me). Someone at a nearby business heard noises coming from a storm drain (had some rain here) and it turned out to be a tiny kitten stuck there! No sign of it's momma or any littermates. A unit from the fire dept. happened to come by and they got him out by 'pushing' him out with water from their fire hose. Poor little thing! But he's none the worse for wear and the guy who first found him is keeping him or rather her, as it turns out. He named her Tes, after the character from Touched by an Angel. The story on tv started out with an extreme closeup of Tes, wrapped in a towel and crying...by this time she was dry and still somewhat traumatized. A little tiny kitten, too...she didn't look like she was quite old enough to be weaned. I think I remember them saying he had taken her to a vet or something, but not sure. It was so heartwarming to see that, especially now.

Oh Connie...it breaks my heart to hear what the bank has done to you, on top of losing Tiggers! This financial crisis we are all going thru is just SO the pits! And the banks act like they've done nothing wrong! I hope things get all sorted out for you.
And little Cher looks so adorable; she reminds me of my Miss Betty (Boop). Named her that because she had such big eyes and made me think of Betty. And she deserves such a loving, caring mommy like you! I'm sure Tigger would approve, too!
Sending big hugs and many purrs from all my babies your way!

Oh Connie! Even though I've not posted for a while, I've kept up with you and Tigger and rejoiced with each rally she's had. My heart breaks for you as I know exactly how you are feeling. You went way above and beyond to help Tigger and keep her as comfortable and happy as possible and I know that she knew that! Oh God, I wish I could bring her back for you, but if I could do that I'd have my Salem and Sinbad and all my other babies too...
You are ever in my thoughts and prayers and know that Tigger will see you again at the Rainbow Bridge.
