i'm not sure I know what u mean. I don't know how morph targets work.. are you sayimg i should load up judy first.. create a morph target. and then load this morph target on EJ?

interface is great, open gl is amazing.. but with out a good render engine... it all goes to waste.. things take way too long... 4 to 5 minute render times... compared to 30 seconds in p5.. and like 20 seconds in p4... and ya you can;t save assests... no animation.. i was really excited with d/s came out 5 months ago. but it's been a bit of a letdown... as far s speed goes.. n

don't do it.. if you want speed.. p4 render engine is twice as fast. Not sure why.. but if you render the same scene in p4 and then again in p5... it will take almost twice as long to generate shadows. if you tend to only render with a few lights... then it's no big deal. but if you render with some of daz global illumunation sets... over 25 lights... you can add an other 30 seconds to you render if you render in p5 vs. p4...

i've posted a few questions in the platinum club: re animation and d/s and if and when it would be available.... they've never responded... who knows... a year ago they had mentioned that animation would be supported soon after the Beta was released.. i'd love to use d/s with mimic..

my setup is ati radeon 9600 pro.. with dual monitor.. works well with p5... although top menu is split between both moitors.. but workable... if u have xp... i think it works quite well..

advice above is great... for poser... if you'd also like to work with daz studio... when it's released then you'll need a more update card... i orginaly had the nvdia 5200... good card works with poser and daz studio... 128 meg version... upgraded to the ATI9600 pro a few weeks ago... that's a great midrange card... with dx9 support... in case you'd like to play a few games... or take advantage of Windows longorn's new 3d interface... I personally would go with the ATI 9600 Pro ($150-$225). nick

okay maybe no sr4 in the near future... but weren't they suppose to give us a list corrections in sr4? P5 Cost me $500 Canadian..that's one week salary for me.. and I'm still living with stupid bugs.. Would be nice if you have some bugs corrected.. then release them.. don't wait for a nice neat package and call it sr4. how about an sr4.. this month... and maybe an sr5 next month.... get the point.. regular updates. Not this crappy one update every 8 to 9 months.? on a buggy prog...(sr3 was released in may 5 of 2003) maybe I'm a little peeved.. that I spent $500. and have been ignored for 8 months. So we get an update today from CL.. that tells us we can't give you an update.. because we don't know when sr4 will be released. A little advice... like I said before... smaller more frequent updates = happy customers. because I tell you one thing... this sr4 better solve all my problems.. because after 8 month of development.. it better be truly amazing!!

I think most of the images in the art gallery are just point an click art.. including the stuff I have posted. I'm not any better.. It's sort of like giving a crayon to a two year old and asking them to draw.. sure what a two year will produce is technically art.. but with out much thought or skill behind it. most of the time it will be just junk. That's pretty much what we have here. Most of the stuff in the gallery is just plain awful, there's no thought or skill. just point click pose and render.. I'm not saying that all point click pose and render stuff is junk.. some people can provoke emotion.. with a quick work.. most can't... I really think you need to master the tools of the trade... lighting.. shadows.. poses.. expressions... etc.. before you can call it art... because if you don't it just distracts from the message.. Example... I love to sing.. you don't have to be a singer to recognize the fact that I have a awful voice...it's obvious to anyone who listens to me.. I'm all over the place.. I'm flat and I can't sing on key. so no matter how beautiful the message in the song might be.. my lack of technique has ruins the song.. with a few lessons and some vocal coaching.. I'm sure I could improve... will I be a great singer?.. probably never.. same applies with most of the artists in renderosity. I'm sure if they learned some techniques... read a few books on lighting..etc... they would be better 3d artists... and there fore less annoying to look at..
