Bopper, yes there is a way to sort. A way that does not work. I too agree completely with OP. It at least has not increased, but reduced sales in that area to me. I don't look for hair here unless I'm desperate. And then yes, I have to do a lot of checking and double checking to ensure I'm buying what I think I'm buying.
More than once I've bought texture sets for something thinking I was buying the model. This has been in the past. Because of that I would then buy the model too rather than go through the hassle of asking for a refund. (Which IS a hassle). Now I weigh the decision to buy way more thoroughly and I don't always have time for that.
In a real store, when I pick up a gallon of milk, I know darn well it's a gallon of milk. If I do however get home and find it is orange juice and they just packaged it to look like milk, I can return it, no sweat.
Another one that annoys me is I would love to be able to sort through character sets that include all the human textures or not. Hate having to look through all the pages just to discover if it comes with plumbing textures.

Thread: Is hobby 3D a dyng art? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been 'trying' to come back. I attempted a discussion on this recently, about the community that I once loved. But case in point, one reason I walked was all the threads getting deleted. And that discussion is gone now too. So that reason to stay gone is still strong.
I've also tried asking a couple questions lately. It's really touch and go whether or not you get any answers so you have to be desperate to decide to try. Sometimes I'm feeling that there is competition for sales among those who know how to do things and they don't want to train their competition. Makes sense I suppose. But still kinda sucks.
However, I'm hear today scrolling through the front page, to see if there's anything worth participating in. I am trying, even though my attempts might be thwarted.
I have a group of people that I've personally gotten involved in 3d as a hobby. I've not pointed them to this forum and unless it gets active again I probably won't. No point.

It does.
Is there a list somewhere with the names of existing channels for V4 / M4?

Quote - I have sent you an email.
what I see is - apparent erc code on the master dial , pointing back to itself.
- the morph uses a new channel name rather than one of the PBM_CC names. It may be fine but its not how I learned to make them.
PHILC will give you a definite answer. He does this stuff far more often than I do.
Thanks so much for looking. I've had my suspicions too that the lack of the PBM_CC names were the problem. But I feel like I must be missing something because you'd think that a vendor utility wouldn't have that type of problem.
"what I see is - apparent erc code on the master dial , pointing back to itself."
Would you be willing to explain this a little more? Is this the :5 problem you referred to in email? I don't want to come off as completely dense but it's been a looooong time since I made any morphs and I'm not sure what 'erc code' is.

Am I understanding correctly that this process will not work in pp2012?

Sveva,
Thank you for clearing that up! I'm grateful that it isn't something I need to worry about on this end.
It's awful that you need to deal with people taking your hard work and trying to profit from it though. Especially as the same sort of product.
As for vendor reputation. I apologize if I harmed that. I meant to be clear that I didn't know what was really going on and who used what from who.
In any regard, thanks for the attention to the matter.

Thread: Errr, How to create REM? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
K, I may have answered my own question, but it seems suspicious to me.
I opened up an INJ file I have next to a REM file I have for another morph set.
It seems the difference is that in the actor name field there is a - instead of the name.
And the code for hidden is changed from 0 (false I assume) to 1 (true I assume).
So my question. Does this actually remove the morph from the figure, or just make it hidden?

Looks like it would do what I need. Do you think that is correct?

Thread: Morph Brush ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh boy, I need more help.
I can not for the life of me remember, or find info on how to create a .pz2 from an .obj file.
I have actually done this before.... and I just can't remember...
I own Injection magic, but can't find definitions for v4.2 anywhere.
I need to create injection files that are distributable.
Thank you.

Thread: Morph Brush ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Joe, Thank you :)
I had decided while waiting to just do it with Hexagon. I do have zbrush and pml, but my memory isn't what it used to be and I keep forgetting the processes lol.
It's really just a 'hair up my butt' project anyway. Frustrated with 'mesh intersection' rules on pose sets, especially where it applies to finger/hand/foot pads. The feet do not float above the floor with no depression whatsoever, yet that is required when you release a pose set.
So I kinda got an idea to include morphs for those pads depressions.
It would absolutely be great if I could create the morphs specifically for those poses, so on that note it may be in my best interest to dust off zbrush and give it whirl. Not sure if I'm up for that challenge just yet though.
I very much appreciate the info you gave. I'm going to try that method now (morph brush export) and see if the results are acceptable.
Thank you.

The doll is ADORABLE.
Additionally, I LOVED hearing the back story and how you are working with your mother. Warmed my heart. I lost my mother in December. It's so good to see people appreciating the time they get with theirs.
Anyway, thank you, this thread gave me a huge smile.
