If I understand your problem, you only need to "lock" the hair object while in place. Parenting alone doesn't do it.

I can open a saved file or create a new one. Poser behaves normally and the figures and objects are listed correcetly but are invisible. The scene is blank..

Take heart, Renderosity. These complainers whined when as children their toys were put aside; sniveled “I hate you” when mummy put the cookies away; can’t understand why there are rules for the protection of others; think their sexually-graphic digital scribbling is art; don’t understand that a website, like a club, may set whatever rules it likes; and don’t know what real censorship is because they don't know the definition of it and have never known it. These are small people, whiners who never grew up. You have a useful website. I'm glad you are talking control of it.

Well, thanks, but I recognize nothing. In UVMapper I "load model," save the Texture map, and that's it. Choose Panar? No idea...

Thanks. No I didn't save the OBJ file -- I've never had to do that in the past... However I've now tried it, but to no effect. After mapping I saved the texture file (which was blank) and then saved the OBJ file, then imported the OBJ file back into Poser 4 and attempted wthout success to apply textures.

Sorry, I should have explained that I'm using Poser 4. (I have but dislike Poser 6.) I did run the objects through UV Mapper but the "saved" texture map was blank.
