Thread: 20D Problem | Forum: Photography
Had my View Screen go out, Canon repaired it no problem and very fast. Took less than 2 weeks. No problems since then.

Joe - Thanks, I pick up the first couple of products to day, and will try and shoot the products this weekend. When the billboard is finish you bet I will grab a photo of it. Doug - Thanks! Shelia - Thanks. I tried to photograph a hawk Sunday, but it was really to far away. I haven't had time lately to photograph birds much though.
Thread: PS CS red eye | Forum: Photography
I find that if the red is a very bright (luminosity high) then then the black will be a very light grey. Would be nice if there was a luminosity setting to control how black you want. PSP red does work much better, but I have gotten use to CS. I use the Red Eye removal, then paint the black back into the eye using the paint brush set to a very low opacity
Thread: Sell photos through online processor? Hummm...anyone tried this? | Forum: Photography
Tom, I have no experience with On-Line Stock agencies, if this is what you are referring to but, I have sold many photos from on-line galleries. These galleries are from events, not fine-art. I shoot baseball games, softball, weddings, etc... Post these to an online gallery and people order their prints from there. Which on-line service are you looking at?

Thread: More Fireworks. | Forum: Photography
Nice job, I think B&W works especially with the lake in the foreground and the city lights on the side. I really like the 3rd one best.

Lovely capture. Love how it looks like the head of an eagle or something just blew out a big smoke puff of it's mouth. Anyone else see this?
Thread: Haven't posted anything in a month. | Forum: Photography
jdw4jesus - Thanks! I used my fairly new Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 lens (about a month old) I was at my mother-n-laws house, and noticed several butterflies in her wildflower garden. So I grabbed the camera and snapped a few shots. I was about 5 ft away and shot at 200mm and f2.8, this helped get the shallow DOF. This was shot late afternoon.
Doug - Yes it was, when I looked at my gallery to post this I could not believe it had been a month. My Part-Time photography business is keeping me so busy time is just flying by.

Thread: Eye Glass Glare .. | Forum: Photography
Sometimes just sliding the glasses up or down a bit will help with the reflections. Also you can use the clone tool to remove/reduce the glare.

I like it. I also think it would benefit from having some hint of shoreline / horizon. Beautiful work!

Awesome shots, not sure these are ladies to bring home to Mom or not, but looks like they could be fun.
