Quote - @Toastie: Check out Powerage's site. Something there that might interest you that takes M4 textures, so it matches perfectly.
Oh? Thanks. I'll take a look!

It's not a regional thing, it's a religious thing.
Really? It seems to me to be Americans that are circumcised. But maybe that's just the er... models (snerk). I guess if it's a religious thing then all the American "models" must be Jewish!
(I'm guessing Jewish, I don't know anything about religions, sorry).

..... I just looked at Tyler and the situation is worse still, I can't see a dial for the foreskin to exist either way, and because I'm not religious, to me that seems kinda rude.
Tyler does have a foreskin morph somewhere. Better than nothing, but doesn't play nicely with poses and other morphs. Don't have Poser on this machine to find it though.
I agree. Figures should be complete with genitals and males should be complete with foreskin (even if it's not on by default). I guess it's an American thing? But makes rendering naked males annoying for Europeans :cursing:

Well, you could always use Jepe's ULF gens if Tyler's default bits don't function correctly, or aren't adequate (poor guy doesn't have much going on there to begin with, LOL). They are made to fit M4, but will work on any figure with some repositioning. And they're free. And they have several add-on sets that are also free, including celebrity shapes/sizes. They aren't the greatest, but they're the best available so far, especially compared to that shriveled little thing M4/M5/M6 comes with. LOL.

Thanks. M4 really does need help in that department! Skin matching is always the problem though.

Quote - Foreskin?
Yeah. If you switch his foreskin morph on and then try to pose his junk, or add any other morphs - horrible things happened. Horrible, horrible things..... :scared:

Hah. I spent several hours experimenting with all of his features the other night. I was quite impressed. But I also came to the same conclusion. It's a crying shame to put clothes on that body.
Have to agree, looking at that! :thumbupboth:
What was I thinking, wasting my time putting clothes on that?!
Agree the Alex head is better than the default. Still, who needs to see his face?
Was there ever an update to fix his foreskin? Blackhearted did mention something about looking into fixing it, but I don't know if anything ever happened.

It's nice!
But niggles...... her right foot is a bit odd. It looks a bit like her toe is disappearing into her leg. I'd bring the foot away, point it and have her toe just touching the leg in a pirourette position. Or... pose her foot so that it's wrapping around the knee joint more like a yoga-type pose. Feet fit perfectly around knee joints, must be designed that way for some reason!

Quote - poor Tyler neglected.
Yeah. Nothing much happened there, did it?
I converted some M3 and M4 stuff for him, but since a lot of that is armour or sci-fi kit then it's actually fairly pointless. It makes very little difference what figure's inside it so might just as well save the effort and use M3 or M4 instead.

Quote - Thing is, I corrected it, and people are still saying it's too much. The angle is no worse than Fifth position in ballet which turns the foot almost 90 degrees.
But the difference is that the knees in that photo are over the toes and the turnout is from the hip. That's not the same as the twisting that you had in your previous pose, even if the angle of the foot looks similar.
If you're going to do a pose pack to go with it please try to get it right
There are so many bad dance pose packs around!

Knee should always be directly over toes, otherwise you will end up with injuries. Turnout comes from the hip.
Good copy of the reference pose though, I like it. It's very hard to get any Poser/Daz figures into a good ballet pose, they're really not built for it. Evolution Eve for V4 is the best I've found.

I don't like the reflective floor too much. She's supposed to be a dancer, not an ice skater!
As these aren't performance clothes I'd throw in a few shots of her leaning on the barre, stretching, rehearsal poses etc.
Big closeups of any included textures and if some parts of the clothes bend really well throw in some yoga poses to really show them off! Look at dancewear catalogues for finding good poses to show off leotards.

Quote - i liked M4 cuz he didn't have magnets attached to him.
well, gianni6 for g2m is out,
all i can think of to make for him is erotic bondage props.
M4 just seems a weird shape to me. There's something about him that makes me think of dodgy insurance salesman. Don't like him much at all, but trying to fit M4 stuff to M3 is another one that's not really worth it. Armour looks the same whatever figure's underneath it.

Quote - > Quote - The question was "Why aren't male figures used more often, or rendered more?". Not why don't people make clothes for them. Part of that might be because the clothes people want aren't available maybe, but there's actually quite a lot of stuff out there for the Daz males anyway. Not too much for Ryan/Tyler though unfortunately.
All right, all right, I get the hint! I don't need a building to fall on me. Will clothing for Rex work instead, though?
I'm sure clothing for Rex would be great and much appreciated. But I don't have Rex.
I could convert a load of M3 and M4 stuff for Tyler, but then I'm left with thinking - why bother with all that extra work and not just use M3 or M4 instead?
One of the main problems for me with male figures is that I really don't like M4 very much. Never liked him since he first came out. From what I've seen of the later Daz M-series they look much better.
