Am wading through all the cool info on the node forums (not understanding even 1 percent of it, but i'm likin the pictures - particularly the water drops.).. maybe i can get this figured out (am about to try Sam's idea... (yay, a reload of skydome - weeeeeeeeeee LOL)

and, how do i find out how far away my skydome is relative to my stuff?  i remember i had it set to a scale of... i think around 25%, and lowered down so it appeared to be only a few "feet" above the top edge of the render.

Gonne add in skydome, and change the yon and try and see if that helps....

second edit - Bagginsbill - do I leave the deault mat pose settings on skydome, or do i plug it into the alt diffuse & alt spec?

LOL - ok, the water settings are what showed up with the water... i might have toyed with them in an attempt to make it work, but honestly - after this many days of fighting it - i cant remember.

will try bagginsbill's idea there, while wading through yet another forum ;)  - and the node cult forum i've avoided like the plague - guess now, i'll have to dive in chuckles

my freebies are hosted by divshare (sharecg annoyed me), but the links HERE take you to my own webpage where you click a picture and it takes you to divshare - i do not, nor will i ever (knock on wood LOL) package a "complete package" as seperates (even if i switched to sharecg)- its annoying for me to have to download "left shoe, right shoe, belt, shirt" - why put someone else through that?

Maybe a seperate section for cyclorama textures under props?  i agree, it gets annoying wading through pages of them. 

i dont think there's going to be an "easy" solution to this issue, however, folks....

LOL conniekat.. i LOVE the house =D

my daughter now has 3 cats (she's 10 - lives with my parents).... Madam Curie (an even more appropriate name when you stop and think about this story LOL).... is one of those felines that just ADORES hiding places (not so much a people kitty)... and my daughter adores making things.. they get along great (lol)... so, my daughter starts with a large box that a computer monitor came in, and with my older brother's help, she transformed it with contact paper & stickers & other assorted things she glued & taped on into a house complete with windows & perches (using other boxes - its an ongoing project).... she calls it her
cathouse.

and Madam Curie loooooooooooooves her cat house LOL.

my midnight-kitty is.... well.. one in a million LOL.  i know, EVERYONE says that... but i have proof in the form of a vet bill =D

see, midnight-kitty is a manx (nothin new there) - born of non-manx cats (again, not toooo unusual - mama-kitty's face has a lot of manx in it) - in a litter of 9, the runt...... extremely premature..... and a hermaphrodite.  THATS the unusual part LOL

we had nooooo clue.. called her a girl.. set up a vet clinic appointment for spaying.... a week before that, i was petting her belly.. and something INAPPROPRIATE popped out.

so, told the vet - its not a girl, its a boy.

picked the now BOY midnight up - to find out they yanked out GIRL AND BOY parts..

so, even though tecnically, my cat is neither boy nor girl.. its my baby girl. =D

she ruuuuuuuuuuns to join me on the potty (she thinks thats her special petting snuggle spot)... she likes to sleep on the back of my computer chair - trekkiegrrrl - i see you have a towel taped to your chair - i had to do that on the back... well, my old chair i did (its in storage, cus its too big for this place, i have a smaller one now)

boxes, bags, purses, any hideyhole she can find.. these are a few of her favorite things... LOL

anyways, i gotta get going.. i love reading funny cat stories.....

"tip" and "middle" and then whatever keeps the silly tongue inside the head

Trying to type my response with a computer that is overloaded and i'm pushing it along until this render is completed to give her a reboot...

y'know, aiko's lucky that her clothes fit - try taking a pair of jeans made for a 6' person and putting THEM on a 4'9" person and see how it goes.  laughs  minishkirts are normal knee-length skirts; knee-lengths end up calf length... and forget ankle-length.  best pants i ever had were "clam diggers" - cus they reached my ankle the way NORMAL pants SHOULD.

anyway, can't wait to play with her =D  you did a great job =D

Isnt there a setting you can change to correct the double-click figure replace issue?  i cant check right now (and i have 6 - but its rendering right now LOL), but i seem to recall the double-click thing only being an issue for a short while with me.

look under your program settings.....

I had problems with cross dresser.... if you have an older machine like mine, you might have the same problems - in the working window, my mouse C R A W L E D - until it got ou of that window and onto a button, then it zoomed across the screen.  my computer just cant handle the program, so its going to have to wait for me to test it out again when i get the new one =/  i'm sure its a great program, i just cant utilize it yet (give me a few more months)

i've used clothes converter from Daz - some things it works great on, others you can spend hours tweaking & still get nowhere.
