Give me a huge highly detailed futuristic building of some kind, with helipad, groovy pointy bits, twin towers and joing walkways. Just the sort of place for an evil corporation to settle into...

This is stunning work, be proud. Chest plate...both if possible, otherwise posette, better for those who don't have Vicki.

Could you stick that texture in Free-Stuff or mail it to me please? It's just what I was looking for.

Thread: "Cluedo" style rooms | Forum: Vue
Well essentially we're planning to 'copy' Cluedo in the idea of the game, but the look of the game will be different. My idea is that the game has a board anyway, which will be the overhead plan of the house. Then, as people enter each room their 'status' or 'info' screen will show the look of the room they've entered, really just to give atmosphere. The images will probably, when thinking about it, be less than 640x480, but as that's the max screen res it'd be best to do it like that and then we can resample. Anyway, I'm rambling...so bascially both an overhead and a first person would be idea, although the overhead view might be drawn with lines and so forth depending how we can sort it out. I am going for a modern architecture rather the classical cluedo style of the English manor. I am just finishing a rough draft of 'The Lounge'. which I have attached for your perusal on the message above this one. I don't have the shortlist of rooms we need, but definietly a Kitchen.

How about a $5-$10 registration fee per year per member to post artwork, freestuff and forum messages?

Thread: We Need Some Rocks | Forum: Vue
I think this is a great idea, the one thing that lets Vue down is it's lack of preset textures which on the whole (especially compared to Bryce) are not as great. On a similar note I dropped a line to E-On Software suggestion a SolidRock (tm pending) algorythm like the vegetation uses to produce random rocks. They seemed very receptive to the idea.
Thread: Renderosity Online Store - GRAND OPENING! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think there's a fine line between what should be free and what should be charged for. Being in the software trade connected with PDAs the authors of that software are aware what is considered freeware and what is considered sharware quality. The artists have to make up their own mind as to what they charge. I cannot create models and textures, I am not that skilled, so I rely on other people's stuff to create my artwork (which is just my hobby). I am more than prepared to purchase these items, so long as the price is reseanoble, I say good luck. But that fine line must be observed, Quality is what will make you money in this kind of game, not quantity.
