The Powers that be really don't have a clue do you. Have you even thought about those who are Not Active Memebers that have favored Artists here and only come here when they get an ebot that one of them has Uploaded an image. If you think that's an insignificant number you're wrong, watch your Number of members currently Online start dropping because they are no longer visiting. Rendo is going to become the NetFlix of Online Art communities with these Bonehead Changes.

Thread: How to Maximize the size of *.png rendered in Apo? | Forum: Fractals
When setting up the Render settings you should be able to see what the final image format will be by checking the filename, is it .Jpg, .Bmp or .Png, change it to what you want. If you want transparent PNG make sure Transpaent Png is enabled in the Options list. I have a measly 3gig of ram but have rendered 25 and 30 mpx Pngs before no problem, there is however a warning that pops up in the image output stage that says "when rendering Higher Resolution Images it is better to use BMP format to avoid Memory problems" I ignored it and the Png was fine.

Max size usually always depends on the ammount of RAM available, the more Ram the larger Image that can be Rendered, speed always dependent on the number of Cores available to process the Project. I do not believe Apo (any version) has a limit on size of Render, it all depends on the Power of your Machine and of course your patience.

80% of that number is always Web Spiders from Yahoo, Google etc. crawling all over the web to keep their databases full of fresh content, the more active the site the more spiders they attract. The true count would be Registered members or Active daily posting members.

I said I've run into it, never said I let it get to me, I'm too damn old and mean to cower from any type of criricism or pressure, you know me. The latest was in the MojoWorld Gallery, one particular Mojonaut took offense that I have so many friends commenting on my MoJo pieces that don't use MoJo themselves, how could possibly judge them as to competency with the program. Now what the hell kind of crap is that, didn't freaking know it was a contest or a bad thing to have friends. I just shine that stuff on and keep on doing my own thing.

You still run into that Quiet Riot, I have run into the same thing. To some it's not good enough just to try and do something creative you have to it with only "acceptable" programs, without postwork so the purests don't get peeved, what a crock. I've hit that wall of Cliqueshness in every gallery here except Mixed Medium and 2d.

I'll see if I can dig out some Spots to post in the freebies. I have a bad habit of not saving spots in FE or Flames in Apo though, just too impatient I guess. Wasn't till Incendia and Mandelbulb3d I started saving files like that but I'll see what I can dig out from the FE graveyard.

Could be your antivirus or firewall settings. I don't have any problems here but at some other sites I have to turn off my Firewall to upload and download stuff.

Corrie' should be good because the FE users Group is still alive and well, at least I think so I keep getting email updates from them although it's been a loooong time since I visited. I went looking on my external Drive for my Zip of the original and it seems to have gone missing. I did Zip-up a full functioning copy of FE with Compiler and the Landscape stuff (which I've never tried) along with some additional Spots also. Since FE didn't need Installation to start with(Just unzip to a Folder and go) it should work fine for anyone. If anyone needs I will send it no problem.
