Did you try Poser Pro Pack by Curious Labs? One of features should be: LightWave plug-in - Host Poser scene files with animated characters inside Newtek's LightWave I have not tried it. I am very much interested in Poser animation import into Lightwave. My friend told me it (PPP) worked for Cinema 4D.

(1) FireFly renderer with no smoothing. Production quality.

(2) P4 renderer of Poser 5.

We still have same problems.
It was not polygon smoothing as was suggested by kuroyume0161.

I got free Cinema 4D CE R6. Pro Pack seems to work for Cinema 4D V7.

Do you have any opinion about C4D, or LW?

I ordered Poser5 before it released. But, I began to use Cloth Room only a few days ago.I understand that many people dont use Cloth Room yet.

I think it is especially good for animation. Due to the recent developments of high speed computer, and broad band internet connection, animation will attract more people. Poser in nature will shine in animation.(only my opinion)

I should try to convert some conforming clothing in dynamic clothing.
It is also nice if modelers make more dynamic clothes.I am going to buy dynamic clothes.

You are right.
Probably it is no need to use high-res character such as Victoria3, and high reso. texture for animation. A low-res Vicky or even P4 female (male) may be good enough for animation.
I will try a low-res character.

I had one reason to use Vicky3, high reso character.
Although, I did not make the careful comparison, it seemd to me that the mouth movement was less tense with Vicky3 (high-reso character) than Viky2 or low-res Vicky, when I used Mimic.

Recently, I installed SR-3.
The threshold value of the freezing went down significantly for FireFly render.
Or, it was worse with SR-3.

P4 render of Poser5 worked fine for both cases.

I tried some renderings.
FireFly worked for a small picture 12.5x10 inches without ray tracing, and one victoria.
However, when I tried the small picture 12.5x10 inches with ray tracing, and two victoria, FireFly froze when rendering shadow map.

I used Grace Lion Hair by Quaker, not heavy P5 hair.

FireFly does work for a small file.
The fact is that FireFly render is worse with SR3 for my situation.
P4 rendering is working fine.
I may have to remove SR3 ???

It is a freeze. I tried it 3 times for the same scene after having installed SR3, including one overnight render. I have to kill it. It is not easy to kill using Task Manager. Poser5 does not respond. I had to kill it by shutting down the computer. It freezes in the middle of rendering the image

FireFly settings are:
Production
Use displacement map
Ray tracing on
Cast shadow
Smooth polygon
Render to new window 25x20 inches
Other default settings.

One Victoria with high reso texture, and one motor cycle.

Did you use P4render or FireFly render ? I did not have problem for AVI with P4 render. It freezes with FireFly render. I can not use FireFly render for animation. Did anyone have this problem?

Thank you Caly. Now I understand. I did right thing without knowing it. I would be surprised if my money were taken for renewal without my permission.
