Dodger did explain how to do that at his site, I found the thread, you probably need to be a member there to read it.

I made the suit grey so the other parts can be seen easier, I still have to fix the pokethrough in the boots and I don`t know why the animation jumps the way it does, it should be smooth.

Dodger did a tutorial at his whatever3d site about a method for keeping solid parts of a figure solid, it involves using a smaller version of the armour part but you would be better to find the original tutorial to see all the steps needed.

Quote - Thinking out loud here.. what if you set Bend = 0 inside the CR2? Wouldn't it be a stiff conformer then? Or wouldn't that work? Haven't tried it... just guessing :)
That was what I did with the figure I mentioned, but parts that have cloth or other bending parts wont move as they should.

When rigging a darth vader figure, I made parts that were not to bend with different group names from the usual ones but still part of the figure.

I was editing the entries by hand to make the eyes work properly, without eye movement affecting the head.

I rigged it myself and I did name all the parts, the internal name for the left eye is lEye in the cr2 as can be seen in my post with part of the cr2, the external name for the part is left eye.

Lesbentley, the internal names are not the same as the bone names.

I dont know which bone numbers are which body parts, bone 19 could be an eye or a foot, if I don
t know which is which then I can`t edit the cr2 properly.
Thread: Cr2 bone name? | Forum: Poser Technical
The object does have groups but none of the names are bone, but the cr2 has names in it like bone 19 when it refers to body parts.

The group names and their internal names are all correct but the cr2 uses the bone names that I used originally. I checked the object in a text editor and there are no bone groups(groups named bone).
This has happened in the past as well, I assumed that it always happened with every cr2.
