One day soon Woody, you can add yourself to this picture. You seem to be improving with every post. Can't fault the choice of representatives either!

THOSE PEOPLE WHO DO SEND YOU A COMMENT, MAKE A POINT OF SENDING THEM A MESSAGE OF THANKS. LIKE ALVIN SAYS, IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING FRIENDS. WHEN I STARTED TO POST ALL I GOT WAS A COUPLE OF COMMENTS AT MOST, NOW I GET A FAIR FEW, AND MOSTLY FROM REGULARS, IN WHICH I CASE I RETURN THE FAVOUR. I ALSO FOUND STICKING TO A CERTAIN GENRE HELPS YOU TO DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS ANDKEEPS YOU MORE FOCUSED. AS YOU IMPROVE YOU CAN DIVERSIFY, AND BY THIS TIME YOU SHOULD BE GETTING THE RECOGNITION IT DESERVES. AS A LAST POINT I THINK AS A WHOLE WITHIN THE BRYCE COMMUNITY WE SHOULD ALL TRY TO COMMENT MORE, EVEN ON THOSE WITH BASIC SKILLS EVEN IF TO POINT OUT WHAT MIGHT NEED IMPROVING. FOR A WHILE I WAS HAPPIER POSTING AT 3DCOMMUNE BECAUSE I ALWAYS GOT MORE OF A RESPONSE. I THINK RENDEROSITY IS THE BEST SITE FOR TESTING OUT YOUR WORK, COS IF YOU GET PLENTY OF COMMENTS YOU KNOW YOUR WORK DESERVES IT. DON'T GET DISHEARTENED, YOUR TIME WILL COME!!!!!!!!

Thread: Need lighting tips. | Forum: Bryce
A good thing to do is to observe set ups in films or TV or in your environment. It can be a case of trial and error at first, but experiment just with an object say a sphere and try the different lights changing the settings in the lab. Also different atmospheres affect what you do as well. Light gels are also worth messing with from tim to time. There are a couple of tutorials out there. The best source I've found is www.3dlinks.com, this site covers a number of techniques and there are a couple of good light tuts.

Hey Tuttle, "I demand more booze", "even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day" etc etc. I forgot to mention True romance, and Sexy Beast is cool just for Ben Kingsley using the phrase "spunk bubble". I also forgot Lock stock and two smoking barrels and Close encounters. Shit maybe I should of made it "your top 50 favourite films".

I'm gonna have to go with albums Aphex twin, selected ambient works 85-92 Global communication, 76:14 Dreadzone, "into the light" and "sounds" Orbital, the brown album Future sound of London, Accelerator Air, moon safari David Holmes, Lets get killed CJ Bolland, analogue theatre Jeff mills, The transmission series Luke Slater Four cornered room Uziq, tango and vectif and for an all time classic track, Derrick May, "strings of life". If any body should happen to have the original vinyl of this, it's not worth much so you may as well give it to me, no honest, I wouldn't lie!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear this, But I'm glad I read this as it serves as a warning, I have loads of models saved, as I tend to create them individually to pull into a scene. So now I know I'll be more careful.
