"I count as irrelevant the notion that reducing the number of postings will increase the views for those of you who need them as some kind of validation." - Dialyn #1 reason I create my images - for my pleasure. #2 reason I create my images - to share those images with others. I don't need views as a form of validation. I have enough self confidence to be happy with what I do. HOWEVER - as stated very well in the math above, if we can slow that huge monster of a gallery down be even 25% then that's 25% longer that a person's image would be exposed to MOST viewers, as it's the first couple pages of the ALL gallery that get the most hits. Wouldn't everyone agree that more exposure as an artist can only be a good thing, whether they are professional or not? Just don't ASSUME I post for comments or views!

If I had the time to chart it, I would. However just guessing at the numbers, I can pretty easily say that when I post an image, for each page it gets pushed back, it gets about half the viewings as the previous page. After it is about 5 or 6 pages in, it gets virtually no views. As someone stated earlier, it is very hard to build a connection between an artist and others unless they post a lot. This site should be a fun community for all, but unfortunately when a few dominate, the smaller ones get lost. Oh, and I don't think changing the posting rules would even affect anybody but the poser and bryce galleries because anyone who does work for 3d max, or cinema 4d, etc, usually only posts once a week. AS for the crappy pics I was referring to earlier, perhaps I shouldn't have said crappy. I mearly meant the sea of sameness that is the poser and bryce galleries. Pose, post, pose, post, pose post.

It is broke. I too only post once in a while and hate that my one image gets buried many pages back within an hour. Not only that, but I would love to be able to go through the gallery once a day or so and comment on people's pictures more. With so much garbage being posted daily, it has made me loose interest in this whole website. I'd rather see more quality put into the images than quantity. The only time quantity comes into account is for comic style images where you may have multiple pages. However they can always be combined into one image or fewer images. I say even 7 a week is too many. If you can produce 7 good images a week, then you are an artist god.

I thought you might have had it, but nope. (sniff) still no luck. Guess I'll just have to quietly slip away from R'osity.

Ok, checked all of those things. STill happens. I've tested it out on my home Cable modem and the Lan at work, and still happens. It doesn't happen to my other computer, it happens no matter where I'm logged in, I've checked all the settings. I'm starting to get a nagging suspicion that one of the windows updates is screwing with something. I think right around this problem popping up is when I installed yet anther one of those updates that XP downloads for me. It's the only thing I can think of at this point. The problem isn't quite so bad, usually it only takes me three refreshes for the thumbnails to ALL load. And only two for most images. Hopefully the next update will fix this, or I can figure out what's going on, because I can't surf this site this way for much longer. Thanks for the help, and if anyone thinks of something else to check, let me know. Dragontales

I thought that may be it, but apparently not. The problem is on my laptop, so I went line by line and compared all my internet settings with my desktop. As far as I can see, everything is the same. The other weird thing is, sometimes it will load a thumbnail, then if I hit refresh, that one won't load, but maybe another will. If it was cookies, I would think all the thumbnails would be blank. Instead, I get random ones. AARGGHHH...I'm ready to break the F#$#king thing!

I should also probably add that it does NOT happen to the images on the front page or the marketplace, etc. Just the Gallery!

Sorry, guess I should clarify. It's not just my images that I uploaded, it's the entire site's gallery. Everybody's images and thumbnails.

Question, What happens if an item looks for textures that are no longer there? Will correct Reference change it, or leave it blank. I lost a bunch of textures on a computer changeover a while back and don't want to try and reinstall everything. I retexture in another program anyway, so it's not a big deal if the textures are missing. I'd just like to know what Correct Reference would do to the items. Thanks

I tend to use the morphs that build up body muscle. I don't like overly muscular women, but fit and trim is great. Morhps like calf bulge, thigh full, etc are usually used.
