Here are a few stills from the animation I put together. The textures are all temporary seamless tiles and procedurals. You can have a good laugh at it here.
It's only a six second animation, but I think that perhaps for a landing vessel of this scale the entire landing sequence should last much longer. I've also discovered that I forgot to envelope the opacity of the hypervoxels over the life span of the particles. If I ever get around to re-doing the animation, I know I've learned something here. :o)
Thank you very much for all your feedback.

LOL... you are absolutely right... it does look cool, but it does look a lot like misbehaving geometry. Cheers! M

I know my suggestions are getting to be a royal pain in the back, but one would imagine that the closed cars/cabs would be connected by a flexible corridor of some description. I think that you will also need to space them further apart to allow for greater articulation in a turn. Have you given much thought to how the tracks will bend?
Just suggesting... again. :o) M

Looks much nicer now... I do wish you'd sit the cab lower down into those track guides. I think that it would make the two parts look more integrated and built together rather than just sat on top. Just suggesting... :o) M

My wife would gut me if she ever caught me admiring your work. Then she'd probably come back and torch the house, starting with my computer. (She's fast asleep now... hehehe) :oP
I'm not a Poser user at all, but your products are the only ones I have ever thought of putting on my wishlist. If I ever get around to using Poser, the "girl next door" products would be the first ones I'd play with.
Absolutely awesome work... and tremendous quality.

I've modeled one of these myself before, but I must confess that this is a much more elegant and sophisticated model. Well done! Cheers! M

Thank you very much, Sandy. Already linked and posted on my website. Still testing the whole thing before we go live... everything looks like it's working though. :o)

The track guides still look "hmmm"... perhaps you could try a different configuration entirely. Some bits would really benefit from a bit of micro beveling here and there. If this is destined for Poser, I suggest you turn up your default smoothing angle to 100 so you can see where you need to split your vertices. I like the ribs on the side of the train. The cockpit windshield is nicely done, but it looks oversized for the width of that train. Keep going... M

That's really starting to look interesting, my friend. :o)
May I suggest that you work on the capacity and the functionality before you get settled on the size and mass. Sometimes grounding a model in a realistic credible scale... or at least something understandable, helps make the model more believable.
Looking forward to developments... :o)
