I too am trying to learn Vue. It seems like Bryce 6 is gonna take a while to come out. In my opinion, Vue impliments sunlight on foliage better than Bryce, especially light from the back or the top. Finally "bryceformac" is not very appetizing for me, I'm a PC user. I know it's just the name of the website ;-) It seems like C4D is a very poplular "next step" unless Bryce 6 comes out.

Ditto, I really like the tree. I agree, you may want to put rocks protruding out of the water even on the terrain itself, also terrains in the distance. Play with the atmosphere and light a bit, It looks great but maybe you can make it even better. ;-)

You may want to try radial lights and disable the sunlight. I don't think Bryce 3 has true ambience option, and I'm not sure if it has soft shadows, but if not you can try using semidomes you can download here: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/%7Erodv/semidome/index.htm tutorials: http://www.bryceanworlds.com/pages/simulated_radiosity.html Maybe you can create a flow instead of drips of water http://www.petersharpe.com/Tutorial15.htm I hope these are helpful.

LOL, That's funny cuz my gallery's not in order... I habitually put old ones ahead of new ones. Nah, maybe disabling the Hot 20 vote is a bad idea. Just that it was a big issue for a while, I don't think there's a solution to it. Yeah I got kinda crazy on that. I'm actually not that private, maybe cuz I got no money. Hey how bot voice command support? Just kidding ;-)
