Also, I dloaded the files for this tutorial and when I applied them to vue it looked wrong. Can vue make the same looking image as the final image in this tutorial when using the same files?
I think hdri files can be used for environment, lighting, and reflection. The hardest part is making the environment hdri so people use planes like in this tutorial. Vue comes with environment maps that look great. Is it possible to make these maps using a mirror ball or is the outcome always fuzzy? Is the 1st pic in this post a plane pic or an environment map that is 360 degrees? It looks great. Has anyone made a 360 hdri environment map that looks good or is everyone using preset maps and bought maps or planes?

Good job. I wonder would it possible to run the straw through uvmapper so the texture fits more accurate? I like the picture on the table. :-)
I also think it might be better if all the WIPs were on one thread. They could be organized threads where everyone's first WIP goes in one thread and then everyone 2nd WIP goes in another thread and so on. We could then see how all of us develop easier. Is that a good idea?

Good job, Is there anything to do to fix the triangles at the top of the glass on the rim? I'm having problems with my renders of this scene with the top of the glass. I think the shadows of your backround picture don't match the shadow of the glass.

If I was making this scene I would make two videos: one with the barren scene and the other with the plants growing. I then would composite the two videos in After Effects. Generate the mask from the second video in vue to use in After Effects. Otherwise, I would make an animated mask in AE.

How interesting. Thank you for sharing the info.
Sometimes I put dummy objects in the way of the ecosytem to control the output of the eco and take advantage of the decay near foreign object selection to control the ecosystem. Then I delete the objects. Sometimes I move the objects out of the way or scale them under the ground plane in case I need them again. Anyway, thanks again. Your knowledge is helping me understand vue much better.

My friend who isn't a 3d artist immediately thought his proportions were strange. Perhaps the scale has been altered on various limbs for some reason. Maybe this model would be a better investment? Just kidding.Thread: Could Somone with Apollo Maximus Post a Picture for Me? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The thigh and knees don't look right. The material is stretched on the knee and the thigh into the hip is socketed. The knee doesn't blend into thigh muscle correctly. JMHO.

I would like to see him posed so we can see how bad the problem areas are. The default pose doesn't help at all.

I'm in. I'd like mini-challenges for snow. Snow on rocks or trees or snow that looks wet or icy. A challenge inviting us to make a scene from a book would be good. Great ideas everyone.

I have a Canon camera that comes with software that auto stitches the pictures. The results were amazing. The resolution of the picture is 22,000 x 1000. Would I be able to put this picture in as a HDRI or something similiar? Sorry I wasn't clear in my previous posts. Thanks for the help and the link. I'll keep trying.
