Well, then I must be screwed cause I am using a mac and my poser scenes all move into the Vue with no textures.
Thread: Hijacked link? | Forum: Bryce
I just cut and pasted http://www.mayang.com/textures/ and it sent me to the http://epic-usa.org/ site. I'll try it from home and see what happens.
Thread: Bryce bedroom WIP any comments please | Forum: Bryce
If it's 1860ish, then the bedroom is to large. The bedroom wouldn't be like a modern master bedroom, with sitting area, kitchenette and spa. It would be a tiny affair with massive furniture. Also, the bed is a little long. Remember, in 1860 people were shorter. It was also belived that sleeping lying flat would engender health problems, so they would have had a bolster on the bed so they could sleep sitting up. Don't get me wrong, the scene is beautiful. The detail is very rich, and much better than anything I could do. But when I look at it I see a modern bedroom that borrows fomr 1860 rather than an 1860 bedroom. Runwolf

It is taking me to http://epic-usa.org/ for some reason. It's a redirect, I think. I suspect that because I'm at work, and my access is through the government, that Mayang's site is redirecting URL's with a .gov or .mil top level domain to Epic instead of letting them look at their page. Pretty freaking low, if you ask me. Which you didn't.
Thread: March Challenge preliminary *WIP* | Forum: Bryce
Remindes me of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade... He chose poorly. LOL... Not the cup of a carpenter, but a beautiful piece. I'm using Bryce 4, so I can't comment on the metaball issue, but I love the look and am glad to see that level of modeling going on in Bryce.
Thread: Any suggestions for my newest Bryce Model? | Forum: Bryce
Shinier is bad. That's a covert ops weapon, and would be flat mat black. Instead, the bump map on the body would be grainer.

Thread: Confused, please help | Forum: Vue
yes, but when trying to build something from scale drawing, it gets a bit tough when you're yardsticks don't match. I know I know, Vue isn't a modeler...

Shrinking the eggs, and having some sort of goop in the broken egg would help. Also, I like the dragon, but if you're going to have a bright red and grey dragon, you're going to need bright red in the environment. And those fragile, precious eggs would be better cammoflaged as well. Still, a good job, I like it.
Thread: Do your Challenge Voting for February in Here!!!!!!!!! | Forum: Bryce
1st Jausse cause it sums it up for me. 2nd ICMgraphics cause it made me laugh. 3rd Draculaz cause it IS the God inside of Bryce.
Thread: February challenge is closed, please vote | Forum: Vue
I'm going to buck the crowd and go with #3, because I really like the lighting and because I feel it most accurately illustrates the story, which focused more on Atlantis above the waves than Atlantis below them.
Thread: wouldn't be interesting to see...... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'll only download free stuff that includes commercial in the license, cause I don't want to have to keep track of what I can and what I can not use when I'm doing a for pay job.
Thread: Peppers Ghost | Forum: Vue
Thanks ShadowWind. I'll work up some new models and stuff and see about trying out the technique on something more "substancial" than the objects in Vue! Thanks again!
