On a related note, that Magic Hat freebie that DAZ posted last month makes a perfect hat for the wizard Gandalf.
Thread: Quick tech question about animations in broadcast quality | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
NTSC video has a frame rate of 29.97 fps (commonly rounded off to 30); PAL video has a frame rate of 25 fps. When I'm not messing with 3D graphics, I'm messing with home video (I have no social life).

Something else to consider is the texture mapping. What looks right on the original sword won't necessarily look right after it has morphed into the axe. It is possible to get a single texture to work with both shapes, but a new texture map might be required for best effect. This probably isn't much of an issue unless you're doing an animation of the morphing.

I'm glad to see you didn't go with dogs playing poker instead. Good pose for the dragon; I love domestic scenes like this. A pity he doesn't have sleeves to hide a card in. Perhaps one of the other players ...
Solitaire, anyone?

Mesh Magick, I've spent my entire life reading sci-fi novels and watching such fine television entertainment as The X-Files, First Wave, and The Visitor. Since you're asking, I'll take a crack at a few of those 9 questions:
Perhaps the invading aliens are already here, and are infiltrating our government. Handing the disk over to the authorities wouldn't help much, since it would soon vanish under mysterious circumstances.
Assuming that #1 is valid, they'd probably end up like the disk.
If our heroes gain access to a supercomputer, perhaps they could unzip and compile the data, discovering blueprints for all sorts of neat sci-fi weapons and alien detection gadgets.
4-8. See above.
I hope these ideas help, or at least give you some new ideas of your own. Keep writing!

If you want to render an animation in Poser directly to the Shockwave format, you'll need the Poser Pro Pack. If you're talking about converting an existing .avi file to Shockwave, try the link above. You'll find a couple of inexpensive shareware utilities that might do the trick.Thread: rar files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

StuffIt Expander can open .rar files as well. There are versions for both Windows and Mac.Thread: Cat got your tongue? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You might try Toshi's website. He has cat ears and a tail in his Poser free stuff/props section. They're designed to fit the Poser 4 female. http://www.aimilc.ne.jp/~rainbow/e_html/index.htm
