cool, i would add narrow eyes and small pupil morphs to that and he would look quite undorky. but he still looks very standard, quite unlike your female heads that are totally new people in themselves. will be watching closely for more :)

great terrain material, great ground fog! wow! (if this was a gallery pic, i'd nit about the lighting -- but as a product render, it's an excellent illustration!) congrats and goodluck on the sales!!!

oh, of course! hehe... those are great textures... i can't even get them to look half as real in Bryce itself! that's another advantage of poserizing a terrain i guess, you cut out all the bryce variables and make it easy for folks like me who don't know the right settings!!! hmm, now i'm just getting jealous... i better take a walk. ;)

this is a way cool idea GeorgeD! my suggestion is to put in 2d fog/cloud/haze textures and transmaps for people to apply to the 2d poser prop, they can place that along the horizon to create fog/cloud/haze the only trouble is apparently poser rendering will only allow 100% or 0% shadows, no partial shadows... it would be weird to have a semi transparent fog casting 100% shadow. it's all to do with placement i guess... another suggestion is to throw in light sets for this. lots of poser users are "studio" based, not outdoors. by the way Mesh Magick, the lighting and presence of fog/cloud/haze, along with the tex/bump on the mountain will make it "impressive" - no matter the actual size. :) lesse some poser renders of this folks!!! :) you got some George?

Will Kramer is voodoo here in renderosity. He uses poser for his figures! The final pics are beautiful, loose and natural. His site is earthcurves.com (He's my inspiration to even start with poser and bryce!) Unfortunately can't afford a print at the mo... will have to make do with browsing his site. :/

are rhino models posable? what do you have to do to make a model posable/have joints? is that hard? even i would say $10 for an original posable character mesh is way cheap. i've seen some merely morphed characters that are more expensive. i don't want to drive the price up, i'm just acknowledging Teyon's generosity! hey guys, just an input from a bystander: I reckon give Anton a break cos at the time he got nasty to Marque he was sufferring a lot from warez activity. Okay? I imagine it would be quite hard to handle an attack on your livelihood like warez activity... and then come upon a (totally unrelated and innocent) thread that says your product is less than perfect... well, you might blow up too on such a bad hair day ;) I don't know if he left rendo cos of the ponytail thread or the warez threadS ... I'd guess the warez threadS! And that's not Marque's fault. re tilt of hat... it reminds me of the one winona ryder wore in Bram Stoker's Dracula, the day she met Dracula and went to the "movies" ... except hers was tinier. i like it :) so... for the textures i would love to see exactly the same as what winona was wearing... except i think she had a much bigger bustle.

Heya, I just looked at my downloads directory and found it but I can't remember where I got it from! I've mainly downloaded from renderosity freestuff and propsguild. The readme has this email on it AKISIEL@IBM.NET It's 1.5M and I haven't used it though... so I can't be sure if it's as nice as the pics you posted.

hmm, yes... generally speaking (I was thinking of this pic while I hung out the washing!) fantasy pics are the more impressive when reality is very much in consideration. silly things like what is this thing strapped to, even if it's a magic world... i think you guys know what i'm on about :D i like d&d tho i haven't campaigned in years... baldur's gate is the closest i've come back to it in recent times :)
