Thread: magnets and mat groups... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This is one of those questions that makes me wish I were at home, because I know EXACTLY how to do it, but without looking at it while I'm doing it, I can't figure out how to explain it... but wyrwulf is right, it just seems like there's another step somewhere that is missing, and I can't think of what it is...

Thread: Dragonfly style fairy wings? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I know I've seen some for sale in the Marketplace, but I'm not sure if I've seen any free ones... Bushi used to have a set of wings that were close to Dragonfly wings, but not quite.
Thread: question about kozaburo ponytail | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are a few ways you COULD do it... I would load up another hair model that has bangs like what you want to add, say Kozaburo's morph hair, open the group tool, make a new group with the "bangs" material group, and spawn a new prop of just that... then tweak it until it looks like it goes with the ponytail, then parent it either to the head of the figure, or to the ponytail... or if you want a more permanent option, export the bangs and ponytail as a new .obj file and reimport it... just make sure you know which parts have what material settings, and which texture map goes to each part... Hope that was helpful.

Ha! I constantly think that this is just a way for boys to play with dolls and not get made fun of... (and yes I know there are professionals here too.)

:) I like the birdy... I just posted my first test image with it to the galleries.Thread: Vicky2 copyright question...................................................... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Vicky 1 & 2 are really the same figure... Vicky2 just has a bunch of morphs added to her, and comes with the P4 body version. A Vicky1 morph does work with Vicky2. You don't need to buy Vicky1, you've already got her... just turn off the Vicky2 head morph, and presto! Vicky1 (basically).
Thread: Attention Texturers... anyone wanna help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I doubt that I'd sell them, I don't know if anyone would pay for them anyway... but if anyone wants a copy I can send it once they're done... right now it's just one wing that's been flipped, but I plan on adding a bit more to them before I'm done completely.
Thread: opinions, svp :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You know what would be cool... and I'm not sure exactly how it would work, it would probably involve too much work on your part... but if you let people choose which parts of different packs they could combine into a new pack... or even start a poll here, and find out which ones people would want from the different packs and take the top three or something... okay, I'll shut up now.
Thread: Problem rendering to new windows... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've had that happen before... normally it's when I'm doing other things while it renders... it seemed to kind of freak it out... but if I just let it render and wander away from my desk until it's done, it seems to work okay, but then I've also never rendered anything THAT big before.
Thread: texture ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you've set different materials for the different parts of your object, select them and then use UVMapper's "Assign New UVmap" option, on the different parts... you may need to try different types of UVmaps to get the proper angle for applying the texture.
