ok, thanks :) -- so i've got two options on the first one. i was asking the second question cos magnets offer wider control than morph targets... but i'm comparing apples and oranges i guess! so, what's ERC?

i'm sure that would make sense if i had poser open, i'll try it tonight when i get home, thanks Cheryle :) i think i tried spawn morph target before exporting the obj but i don't remember the morph target coming out as a sub-item under head though... hmmm...

i meant exported above: i tried it with a head magnet, EXPORTED the obj and only selected the head, but something was going wrong ... when i loaded the morph target onto a new figure, the whole head moves forward from the neck and can't be brought back except by reducing the morph to zero... ie no morph! :/

how do you save something you've manipulated with magnets into a morph target (ie an obj file) ? i tried it with a head magnet, imported an obj and only selected the head, but something was going wrong ... when i loaded the morph target onto a new figure, the whole head moves forward from the neck and can't be brought back except by reducing the morph to zero... ie no morph! :/ i missed something?

well, there's this program called poser and you move the limbs of a figure with your mouse and then make finer manipulations using dials grin just joking... ;)

rcook, would you mind telling what the ez file type is? i registered my domain name, AprilsVanity.com, for 8.95 a year. i use mydomain.com to host it for free, which means it's just a redirection. ie if you go to AprilsVanity.com you get redirected to my freebie website at www.april.f2s.com for free web space www.f2s.com is good, 20 meg space limit, and no bandwidth limit that i've noticed. but then i don't have a zip download site. broken, how much are you paying to get your domain names hosted? and what do you get for it? (i'm assuming you have your domain hosted at your actual web space host.) i wish more here at renderosity would register a domain cos people mention so-and-so's model this or that and i can't just go to so-and-so.com to find it... you gotta know their long www.somedomain.com/~username/folder/folder/blah url already! ----- April AprilsVanity.com
