I'm happy with Vue Pro too! It works beautifully on my computer. I have been creating all kinds of plants. And the render engine is worth it's weight in gold! Shari :)
Thread: New tutorial: "bridge/2" walk-through | Forum: Vue
I just read the whole tutorial and it is absolutely wonderful! I learned so much that I didn't know. I have played around with the selections, but I didn't know what they were for LOL! Thank You Eran! I can't wait to get started trying out your techniques. I'm looking forward to your next one! A Very Thankful Shari
Thread: GG's seasonal in free stuff | Forum: Vue
I looked for them in the Vue Freestuff but they weren't there. I did however find them in the Poser Freestuff. Is this an error or are they supposed to be there?
Thread: Problems with Vue Pro...please someone | Forum: Vue
I encountered the same problem with an interior building scene. All black no matter what I did with the camera. I finally gave up and recreated the scene in Vue 4. I'm curious as to why you can't move the camera inside a room scene. Please post the response from Eon as soon as you get it. Thanks, Shari

Thread: OT - But a possible artistic catastrophe | Forum: Vue
What a tragedy it would be if they do harm to a priceless piece of art. I had assumed that the possessors of this statue recognized what a masterpiece it is. The beauty of art is that a little part of it's creator lives eternally within it. What can one do to stop this? If someone finds out let me know! Thanks Djeser for making me aware of this tragedy.

I tried the Mac version out twice. Both times resulted in what I call an endless loop. I had to force quit Vue both times.
Thread: smooth/facteted curved objects | Forum: Vue
Downloaded software, although purchased through legitimate means, does not include a shipment of a manual. Much to the detriment of people trying to learn their legitimately purchased software. I wasn't aware of a problem until I started importing into Vue, and even then I could find very little to help me. So, basically, for the time being, I have layed aside a very expensive program because I don't have a manual to help me learn it. Maybe other people are having this problem as well!
Thread: smooth/facteted curved objects | Forum: Vue
Hey Nick, I played around some more by increasing the segments to 140 and it came close. I might suggest as high as 200 segments or more. I think we're on the right track, it just takes more than I thought :) (Just as a sidenote: I am definitely not a Sketch Up expert)

When it does become available, will someone please let us know! And tell us where to get it. I'd really love to have it!! Thanks

You have to right click on the circle before you apply the push/pull tool. Sketch won't allow any alterations on an extruded surface. I found that out the hard way! LOL!
Thread: smooth/facteted curved objects | Forum: Vue
Hey guys, when you draw the circle in Sketch, right click on it and select properties. Select arc and increase the segments on it. The default is 24 and it makes it look jagged. I experimented with 70 segments and it helped tremendously. Let me know if this works!
Thread: What's going on in the Vue gallery? | Forum: Vue
I have posted once already, but it didn't show up. I will attempt to to again and hope that I have better luck. I want to thank Djeser for bringing this issue into the open. I haven't participated in any forum discussions before because I feel that my work is unworthy of being included with such great artists that I have found at Renderosity. Shoop and Djeser have helped and inspired me tremendously and I feel it's a shame that these and others (including myself) are being attacked. I have removed the ranking from any of my posts. Would that I could remove the vote button as well. Renderosity's voting and ranking choices are only feeding the flames of these egomaniacal individuals. Contests should stay in the contest arena. We should be able to receive help with kind constructive criticism. To date, I have received only 2 votes. One from Davy (Thank You!) and one from Cursed Beauty. Obviously, I still have a lot to learn and I have stopped posting because this situation has convinced me that I am not worthy. Voting and ranking can hurt when it is abused. Just my two cents worth. Shari
